It's always fun to see a pop legend transform into icon—and this year, Jennifer Lopez pulled out all the stops to honor the great Madonna.
On Halloween, Lopez paid homage to the Queen of Pop by recreating Madonna's classic look from "Like a Virgin," and it's safe to say that the 51-year-old singer nailed it.
J. Lo perfectly captured Madonna's '80s bridal look, all the way down to her messy curls. The singer is seen wearing a lace bustier top and a tulle skirt with white pearls, intricate lace gloves and, of course, the infamous "Boy Toy" belt as she sings into a microphone.
She captioned her first post with a popular Madonna lyric and wrote, "Crazy for youuuu... #HappyHalloween."
The star then offered a closeup of her glam makeup, which features Madonna's bold eyeliner and mascara with nude lipstick. The singer is also seen sporting a trendy silver star earring, which is likely a nod to Madonna's other popular hit, "Lucky Star."
Lopez captioned the post with another lyric, this time making it a sweet message to her fiancé, Alex Rodriguez. She wrote, "Didn’t know how lost I was until I found you...@arod #HappyHalloween."
While J. Lo paid homage to Madonna, Rodriguez channeled another '80s legend by dressing up as Bruce Springsteen.
On his Instagram page, he shared a flirty snap of himself and J. Lo in costume. And in the pic, he's seen wearing a denim vest with multiple bandanas—clearly inspired by the singer's "Born in the U.S.A." look. He wrote, "Hope everyone had an amazing Halloween last night! Guess who Jen and I dressed up as..."
We're certainly impressed, and we're pretty sure that both Madonna and Bruce would also approve.
