Jennifer Garner Has the Best Reaction When She Realizes What’s Been Hiding in the Bottom of Her Backpack

I can always count on Jennifer Garner's Instagram posts to brighten my day, whether it's a new installment of her pretend cooking show or a nostalgic pic of her '70s bowl cut. This time, however, the Peppermint actress is unveiling all the items in her mom bag—and as you'd expect, it's filled with surprises.

Yesterday, the 52-year-old mom shared a video of herself unpacking all the items she carries in her tote bag. In the footage, she sits on her couch donning two pairs of glasses with her bag in hand and begins, "What's in my bag? Oh boy..." Then, she proceeds to dig right in—and the first item she pulls out? A Harry Potter-themed T-shirt that reads "Courage, Determination, Bravery." After holding up the shirt, she says, "If you don't know who this is talking about, duh, I'm a Gryffindor."

After this, she pulls out a number of items, including her iPad, a stray toothbrush and a copy of Angourie Rice's Stuck Up & Stupid, which she calls "adorable" and a "great read." Next, she pulls out 11 bucks and, of course, a bag of nuts, adding, "Don't even get me started..."

In case you missed the reference, back in 2023, the Alias alum shared a similar video of herself unpacking her backpack, and when she reached the bottom, she pulled out not one, but eight (yes, eight) bags of nuts. At the time, she laughed uncontrollably and said, “I’m so scared, I’m not going to have nuts.”

It's safe to say the actress meant every word, because in her recent video, she proceeds to pull out a second bag of nuts, as well as sriracha edamame beans, loose dollar bills and multiple travel-sized Kleenex for when she "needs a little tish." However, the real surprise comes when she fishes out loose pieces of gum, which she jokingly offers to her pal who's recording the video. After finding the first piece, she says with a smile, "One piece of gum." And after pulling out the second piece, she continues, "Another opportunity..."

In response, her friend says, "Gross," to which Garner responds, "Okay, I won't take that personally."
