The 2025 Oscars are finally here. This year’s 97th Academy Awards celebrate the best films of the year, including big hits like Wicked, The Brutalist and Emilia Pérez. But let’s be real—the awards are only half the fun. The red carpet is where Hollywood’s biggest stars truly shine and Jennifer Garner just proved that some looks are too good not to revisit.

Ahead of the ceremony, Garner took to Instagram to reminisce about her unforgettable Oscars look from 2018. She shared a throwback carousel featuring her stunning royal blue gown from the 90th Academy Awards—a pleated masterpiece with a fitted bodice, a flowing cape and a dramatic train.

To complete the old-Hollywood glam, she rocked a side-swept, wavy blowout—a classic Oscars go-to. This was in addition to long flowing earrings and statement rings.

“Revisiting a favorite,” she simply captioned the post.

Fans were all about the nostalgia, flooding the comments with love.

“Absolutely gorgeous,” one person gushed. Another added, “That color on you is perfection.” And a third kept it short and sweet comment, “Beautiful.” You get the idea—Garner was (and still is) serving.

Garner also included a clip of herself from that night that became an internet classic. In the short video, the Family Switch actress is clapping in the audience when she suddenly pauses, looking like she just had an epiphany—or remembered she left the oven on. The moment turned into a viral meme at the time.
