Sunday was Father’s Day—a moment celebrated around the world to honor dads, grandfathers and father figures alike. Across the pond, Prince William got a special shoutout from Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis on the Wales family’s official social media. Buckingham Palace also marked the occasion with throwback photos of Queen Camilla and her father. Here in the U.S., plenty of celebs took to Instagram to honor the dads in their lives—including Jennifer Garner.

The award-winning actress shared a heartfelt tribute to her ex-husband, Ben Affleck, who’s the father of their three children: Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel,13. The two have been co-parenting since their divorce in 2018.

In an Instagram Story, Garner posted a never-before-seen photo of Affleck reclining on a couch with a newborn resting on his chest. Alongside the sweet image, she wrote, “Happy Father’s Day to 3 people’s favorite landing spot.” It was a subtle but meaningful glimpse into Affleck’s role as a dad.

Garner also honored her own late father, William John Garner, who passed away in March 2024. She shared a photo of the two walking together in a wide-open field wearing matching overalls, set to Layup’s “Who You Share It With.”

“Being fathered by someone who loves being a dad is a gift,” she wrote. “My sisters and I know this love and (lucky for us) all of our kids do, too.”

She closed her post with a broader message, writing, “Happy Father’s Day to the Dads, no matter where you are. To the uncles and grandfathers and father figures, too. We love you.”

Happy Father's Day!
