This marks their first public appearance since they exchanged vows in a two-day Moroccan wedding in late April. The couple kicked off the nuptials with a ceremony at the Ksar Char-Bagh Hotel in Marrakesh and concluded the celebrations with a party at the Mandarin Oriental.
Dhowre wore two custom gowns, which were both designed by Vera Wang. Elba opted for a tailored suit by Ozwald Boateng.
Elba and Dhowre met in March 2017 on the set of The Mountain Between Us. In February 2018, the actor popped the question directly after the screening of his directorial debut, Yardie, at the Rio Cinema in London. Thankfully, one moviegoer named David Marsden captured a video of Elba getting down on one knee.
After saying “Yes,” Dhowre celebrated the exciting news on her personal Instagram account and wrote, “Baby! I can’t tell you enough how happy you make me and how lucky I feel to have found a love like this, you make my heart feel so full. I love you. Forever will always feel too short.”
Marriage looks good on them.
