Her Royal Highness, Gabrielle Union, is ready for close-up.
The 48-year-old actress shared regal photos of herself on Instagram this week, drawing inspiration from Netflix's hit series, Bridgerton. In the caption, she wrote, "Lady Bridgerton-Wade," adding a shoutout to the Ukraine-based brand, Fanm Mon.
In the post, Gabrielle sports elegant braids and poses in Fanm Mon's mint-green Alanya dress ($279), which includes stunning embroidery. The first snap features the Bring It On star lounging in a chair as she basks in the sunlight. Meanwhile, in the second and third pics, Union appears to be enjoying a bottle of Red Stripe beer.
While we could go on and on about the fact that Union apparently doesn't age, we also love her husband's playful, snarky response in the comments. Since Union didn't acknowledge his stellar photography skills in the post, Dwyane Wade added, "So I don’t get no [photo] cred [angry emoji]."
In response, one fan joked, "No husband, it's all about the wifey lol." Another said, "Y’all are too much [laughing emoji]. So much love."
As most fans may have noticed, both Union and Wade are major fans of the steamy Netflix series. In fact, earlier this month, Union reacted to a viral TikTok about Bridgerton on Twitter, where the fan addressed the drama between Marina Thompson and Lady Featherington. In response, she said, “We just finished season one last night and yessss [laughter emojis].”
We get the feeling this won't be the last Bridgerton-inspired look we see from Union!
