Drew Barrymore is not only a talk show host and one of our favorite Hollywood stars, but she also has an interest in home decor, as evidenced by her line of kitchenware, called Beautiful By Drew. And recently, while the 47-year-old actress was promoting a new candle that's a part of her collection, she gave her followers a special tip for lighting candles.

“My tip with candle care is: don't tilt your match, tilt your candle,” Barrymore says at the beginning of a new Instagram video.

The Scream star then takes one of her Beautiful by Drew Catch-All Candles and tilts it so that it will be lit by the match. “And you still have all that match left to go around,” Barrymore says as she shows the camera. “Keep it upright and tilt your candle.”

As exhibited by the talk show host, this also helps to keep the match from burning up too quickly (or burning your finger), and you can use the same stick to light multiple candles. “[If] you tilt the match, it's gone,” Barrymore says, showing the flame going up the matchstick.

In the caption of her post, Barrymore wrote, “I made these candles just for you! This one is the @beautifulbydrew Catch-All Candle! It’s available right now at @walmart! The reason I love this candle so much is because when you’re done burning through the candle, you can use it as a catch-all for anything you want! I use mine for jewelry!!”

Fans showed their love in the comments, like one user who said, “Burning your candle currently.” Another was very thankful for the tip and wrote, “Drew, I've been doing this wrong my whole entire life, you are now my candle guru.”

We won't be burning ourselves any longer. Thanks, Drew.
