A Very Familiar Face Filled in for Kelly Ripa on ‘Live’ This Week

As Kelly Ripa took a little break from Live with Kelly and Ryan this week, her spot was filled by a familiar face: the talk show's announcer, Deja Vu.

The radio host and media personality filled in for Ripa alongside Ryan Seacrest, and a pic of her was shared to the official Live Instagram account. In the photo, she and Seacrest stand beside one of their guests—Mean Girls actress Lacey Chabert. “@thereallacey with @dejavuspeaks and Ryan!” The caption read.

Deja Vu clearly pays attention to the many traditions on Live, because she ended up wearing the same color as Seacrest so that their outfits could be coordinated. The guest host sported a black dress with large silver studs along the top, while Seacrest donned a black blazer over a black tee and matching jeans.

It's evident that fans of the series love Deja, because they showed their appreciation for the announcer in the comments, like one user who wrote, “Deja is such a vibe.” Others were obsessed with her dress, like one person who said, “Deja, love the LBD!” Another added, “You look Fabulous Deja [fire emoji].”

Typically, Deja Vu acts as DJ on the show, and she introduces the two co-hosts at the beginning of each episode. However, this was the second time this week that she filled in for Ripa. On Thursday, the announcer sported a floral-patterned dress, which she accessorized with matching earrings.

She and Seacrest welcomed guests like actress Allison Williams (Get Out) and New York Times bestselling author Gabrielle Bernstein.

Deja Vu appeared quite comfortable as guest host, and this actually wasn't the first time that she's taken on this role.

Back in November 2022, when Seacrest took a few days off from the set, Deja Vu subbed in for him as well, hosting alongside Ripa for three days in a row.

You always kill it, Deja.
