Virgin River star Colin Lawrence (AKA Preacher) has one important question to ask us: Are we Team Paige or Team Julia?
The 51-year-old actor posed the question to fans on his personal Instagram page on Wednesday. Lawrence shared a collage photo that featured his fellow co-stars, Lexa Doig (Paige) and his real-life wife Lucia Walters (Julia).
If you recall, Paige formed a close friendship with Preacher after moving to Virgin River with her son, Christopher. She moves to the small town to escape her abusive husband. But, Paige is forced to flee after her husband—Wes—finds her. Though Preacher did develop feelings for her, their relationship never progressed to anything more.
In season four, he starts dating a part-time martial arts instructor named Julia. The BTS photo (see above) was taken from the new season, where Preacher and Julia attended the Renaissance fair dressed in medieval attire (in episode six, to be exact).
Some fans were quick to share their responses in the comments, but two of his fellow Virgin River co-stars had something to say about the question.
Benjamin Hollingsworth (who plays Brady in the show) jokingly told his castmate, “Team Preach the player’ [winking emoji and fire emoji] Gotta go with wifey!” However, Doig (aka Paige herself) knew there was only one clear answer, writing, “Ahem.”
