On today’s episode of famous friendships we wish we were a part of, Chrissy Teigen just revealed details on her friendship with Meghan Markle.
During a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live! after show, the 35-year-old announced that she and the Duchess of Sussex have “connected” a handful of times, the first being when the ex-royal reached out after learning that Teigen had suffered a miscarriage. If you didn’t know, Markle revealed over the summer that she also suffered a pregnancy loss.
“Yeah, she's been so kind to me ever since we connected," Teigen told Andy Cohen. “She had written me about baby Jack.... but yeah she is really wonderful and so kind—just as kind as everyone says she is. That's why you look at everything and you're like 'My god, what is absolutely wrong with people that they have to make this person out to be so malicious or so crazy?' when it's just as simple as them being as kind as everyone says they are?”
Chrissy added, “So yeah, she’s a really wonderful person.”
In addition, the cookbook author also opened up about the couple's tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey stating, “I think when I ended up watching it, it was like, ’Holy s–t, this is big.’ But I also waited a long time to watch it, so I had already heard so much about it by the time that I got to it. But yeah, it is—I mean, very eye-opening. Very eye-opening.”
The women weren’t total strangers before Markle reached out to support the model. In fact, the duo opened briefcases alongside one another on Deal or No Deal back in 2006.
