charlies angels reunion

Charlie would be proud, because his angels are back together! The occasion? To support Lucy Liu during her Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony in Los Angeles.

On Wednesday, the 50-year-old actress was surrounded by her former co-stars, Cameron Diaz and Drew Barrymore, from the 2000 action classic Charlie’s AngelsThe trio was also joined by Demi Moore, who starred in the 2003 sequel Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle alongside the girls.

In a sweet moment during the ceremony, Liu thanked Barrymore, 44, and Diaz, 46, for all of their support. “My dear Angels, it’s a 20-year reunion,” Liu said. “20 years ago we were an elite crime-fighting team, and now look at us.”

Moore also spoke at the event.

“Lucy and I first met while making Charlie Angels—I didn’t know we were going to have a reunion today,” Moore said. “I could see she was in fact as I had heard a badass with brains. Then the better I got to know her I realized she wasn’t just a badass with brains, she was a badass with brains, a beautiful heart with a deep loving soul and a damn good sense of humor.” Umm, someone pass the tissues.

Liu received the Hollywood accolade in the TV category—all stars are designated to a single medium—for her work on Ally McBealElementarySouthland and other series.

In case you missed it, a Charlie’s Angels reboot is hitting theaters later this year starring Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska. And while we’re impatiently waiting for the film, we’re happy to see the previous angels back together after almost 16 years (!).

Congrats, Lucy!
