Camilla Parker Bowles Rocks an All-White Ensemble for Latest Public Outing (And You've Got to See Her Hat)

Camilla Parker Bowles just proved to the world that white is definitely her color.

On Wednesday, the Duchess of Cornwall paid a visit to the Royal Hospital Chelsea in London to attend a parade and meet with Chelsea Pensioners. During the event, she also chatted with staff and serving army personnel who are all currently residing at the residence, which houses nearly over 300 men and women, are all former soldiers of the British Army.

According to Clarence House, the hospital was due to celebrate its annual Founder’s Day (which King Charles II’s founded in 1682), on June 4th, however, the event was postponed due to the current coronavirus pandemic. Lucky for us, Clarence House shared a handful of photographs from the rescheduled event.

For the occasion, the 72-year-old looked elegant in a white dress, cream gloves and a matching clutch. She topped off her look with a wide-brimmed sun hat, that felt very summer-appropriate.

The appearance comes just days before the duchess’s 73rd birthday, which is this Friday, July 17. Last year, the royal celebrated her big day by meeting (and petting) a group of miniature donkeys—and, no, it wasn't because she wanted to play "pin the tail." She was paying a visit to the Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth, England. And did we mention, their names were William and Harry?

No word yet on how Bowles will be spending her b-day this year, but we’re crossing our finger that she opts to wear white.
