Kate Middleton & Camilla Parker Bowles Are Twinning in Collared Dresses

We can’t decide whether Kate Middleton and Camilla Parker Bowles’s matching outfits were on purpose…or coincidental.

Earlier this week, both Middleton and Bowles stepped out for separate official outings. However, we couldn’t help but notice their outfits bore a striking resemblance to one another.

The Duchess of Cambridge, 38, kicked things off on Sunday when she visited the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in honor of the 72nd birthday of the NHS. Middleton wore the Beulah London Shalini Midi Dress, which features a tie-waist, collared neckline and button-down front.

While the dress normally retails for $572, it’s currently on sale for $171 and, therefore, already out of stock. (Darn you, Middleton Effect.)

The Duchess of Cornwall, 72, wore a very familiar ensemble, featuring a similar collar, silhouette and print. Bowles’s outing took place on Monday at the Swindon Fire Station, where she met with firefighters, staff and paramedics.

It’s not the same exact dress as Middleton’s, but there’s no denying the similarities. Not to mention, both outfits remind us of an item that was worn by Princess Diana in 1985. The dress featured a polka dot print, silk bow and structured collar.

Perhaps Middleton and Bowles wanted to coordinate, perhaps they were both wearing blue (the official color of the National Health Service) to pay tribute to healthcare workers or maybe it was pure coincidence. If it was coincidence, we have no doubt the royal dresser will crosscheck all future outfits from here on out.
