Camilla Parker Bowles celebrated her birthday over the weekend, and she was definitely feeling the love from family, friends and fans.
In honor of the Duchess of Cornwall’s 74th birthday on Saturday, Prince William and Kate Middleton shared a special tribute on social media. “Wishing the Duchess of Cornwall a very happy birthday today," the couple captioned a photo of Bowles on Twitter.
And they weren’t the only one who celebrated with the duchess. Queen Elizabeth also marked the occasion by posting a similar photo of her daughter-in-law. She wrote alongside the image, “Wishing The Duchess of Cornwall a very happy birthday today! #HappyBirthdayHRH [birthday cake emoji].”
All of these kind words didn’t go unnoticed by the birthday girl. The following day, the official Instagram account of Prince Charles and Bowles, @clarencehouse, shared a thank you message. “Thank you for all the birthday wishes for The Duchess of Cornwall,” the post’s caption read.
Fans and followers filled the comments section of the post with well-wishes. One user wrote, “Very happy birthday to incredibly kind, generous and compassionate The Duchess,” while another added, “You have become an asset to the Royal Family. You've been quietly working for the past 15 years and people are coming to respect that.”
No word on how Bowles rang in her special day. However, considering she’s been busy traveling with her husband over the last couple of weeks, we’re hoping that she got to spend some time relaxing at home.
