Blue Ivy Avoids Major Mishap Like a Pro at the NYC Cowboy Carter Tour Stop

When your mom is Beyoncé, you know that whatever happens, the show must go on. Blue Ivy Carter acted fast this Thursday during the Cowboy Carter show at Metlife Stadium in New Jersey—and I like to think it was the "Texas Hold 'Em" singer that influenced her quick thinking.

In a video posted by a BeyHive fan, you can watch Beyoncé and Jay-Z's firstborn child slowly descending down the stage stairs before quickly wiping down the floor where she was going to do her choreography. After, Blue Ivy wastes no time diving right in and showing off her dance moves like a pro.

The comments came flooding in, praising the 13-year-old and jumping on the long-running joke that she's the actual manager of the production. "I love that she wiped it up herself and once her dance was done she did not leave the towel on the floor. She picked it up and brought it back...MANAGER BLUE IS A REAL ONE," wrote one fan.

"The BLUE BEYONCE right there!! Stop playing with her," shared another commenter.

And my absolute favorite one wrote, "Manager, performer and environmental services all in one. GO OFF BLUE!!"

This comes at the heels of an actual mishap that the teen dealt with at the Chicago stop of the tour earlier this month. While Beyoncé sang "Protector," Blue Ivy leaned in as part of the choreography and her earring suddenly got stuck in the singer's hair. However, that didn't stop her from working quickly and naturally attaching herself off, continuing the choreography like nothing happened.

Joke or not, Blue Ivy has definitely cemented herself as a ringleader on tour. When her 7-year-old sister, Rumi, started joining them during Beyonce's performance of "Protector," Blue kept a close eye on her—especially since the adorable sibling was very excited to be there.

It's no surprise that Blue Ivy learned how to be quick on her feet from her megastar mom. Case in point: On night two of Cowboy Carter Tour in Los Angeles, Beyoncé kept her composure during one of the technical glitches, proving that this mother-daughter duo are the ultimate professionals.

In an interview with GQ, the "16 Carriages" singer praised her daughter, sharing, "Blue is an artist. She has great taste in music and fashion. She is a fantastic editor, painter and actress. She has been creating characters since she was three. She's a natural, but I did not want Blue onstage. Blue wanted it for herself. She took it seriously and she earned it. And most importantly, she had fun! We all watched her grow more and more every night before our eyes."

Close call, Blue!
