Am I seeing triple?

The Cowboy Carter Tour is officially underway. Beyoncé kicked things off on April 28 in Inglewood, California—and as expected, she had a few surprises up her sleeve. While it’s common for artists to bring out local musicians or past collaborators during a tour, Beyoncé made it personal with a special appearance from someone very close to her: her youngest daughter, Rumi Carter.

The 7-year-old joined her mom and big sister Blue Ivy, 13, onstage during the performance of “Protector” (see the moment here)—a fitting choice, given that Rumi made her album debut on that very song. In the track’s opening moments, Rumi’s voice is heard sweetly asking, “Mom, can I hear the lullaby, please?” before the music begins.

Wearing a sparkly gold feathered dress—believed to be a custom Oscar de la Renta design—Rumi walked alongside Beyoncé. Blue Ivy, who’s become a seasoned stage presence, danced gracefully behind them in a silver-gray outfit that mirrored her mom’s Cowboy Carter-themed bodysuit and matching chaps. She also had a standout moment of her own, performing choreography to Beyoncé's 2006 hit, “Deja Vu.”

Needless to say, the moment was one for the books—especially for lucky fans in attendance. As I watched clip after clip online, there was one thing I just couldn’t stop thinking about: how much both girls resemble their mother. Sure, they share her DNA but the resemblance is uncanny. If you showed me separate childhood photos of Beyoncé, Blue Ivy and Rumi, I’d honestly have a hard time telling them apart—they’re that identical.

Beyoncé also shares son Sir, Rumi’s twin brother, with husband Jay-Z. While he hasn’t made a stage appearance (yet—fingers crossed), he did appear in a rare home video during the show, People reports.

With the tour just beginning, I can't wait to see what other surprises are on the horizon.
