Just because Matt James is the new Bachelor doesn’t mean he’s fully prepared for what’s to come. *Cue famed Bachelor Nation host Chris Harrison*
Earlier this week, ABC released a brand-new promo for season 25 of The Bachelor, featuring a never-before-seen glimpse of the premiere. Although we’re not surprised by the over-the-top limo arrivals, we didn’t expect Harrison to go there.
The clip (which has a “never have I ever” theme) features footage from the upcoming season, including a sneak peek of infamous limo arrivals. During a montage, the narrator says, “Never has Matt ever…dated 32 women at once…been a fashion consultant…and—this is a big one…”
Right on cue, Harrison forces James to address his experience (or lack thereof): “You said you’ve never been in love.”
“I haven’t,” James responds. To which Harrison says, “My job is to change that.” *Eye roll*
The trailer comes just a few days after ABC released a complete list of the 32 women who will vie for James’s heart. Not only are there four international contestants, but there’s also one lady whose occupation is listed as “Queen.” (We’d love to hear what Queen Elizabeth has to say about this.)
At this rate, we can only hope Neil Lane is patiently waiting on standby. The Bachelor season 25 will premiere on Monday, January 4 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
