First Trailer for ‘A Quiet Place Part 2’ Includes New Faces and More Monsters

We finally have a deeper look into A Quiet Place Part 2, with Paramount's release of the first official trailer.

The trailer begins with a flashback showing the first appearance of the noise-hunting monsters (and we think we might actually get a glimpse of John Krasinski after all).

We then return to the present-day—the events following the first film—where we see Emily Blunt’s character, Evelyn, leading her children along a trail of sand as they venture into unknown territory while trying to keep quiet. They meet a survivalist, played by Cillian Murphy (Peaky Blinders), who says, “The people that are left, they're not the kind of people worth saving.” Spooky.

Last month, the film also released its first official poster, which features the group of four (including the baby in a basket) headed towards a tower with a red light.

The original movie told the story of a post-apocalyptic world where humans are hunted by fast-moving creatures. The only way to survive? Stay silent. Tough ask for a family of five with three young children. Krasinski starred as the patriarch of the Abbott family alongside his on-screen and off-screen wife, Blunt.
