From affordable designer lookalikes to the best sweaters made for the season, we know how to comb through products upon products to bring you the very best. But what are we purchasing for ourselves, you might ask? Below, I polled PureWow staffers for all the random-but-useful Amazon purchases they’ve made this month. From cozy sweatpants you can look (and feel) your best in to stand mixer inserts that make multi-tasking in the kitchen a breeze.

PureWow editors love comfortable pants that don’t sacrifice style, and Pamela Masin, Director of Affiliate Strategy has purchased this pair several times over. “I ordered these sweatpants in a second color this month and I may even get another! The length is petite-friendly and the barrel shape makes them look more put together than other comfy pants I own that are double the price. The fabric is a waffle knit that comes off looking a bit like corduroy, which is exactly what I wanted. The green and dusty blue colors look exactly like the photos and now I'm eyeing the yellow for summer.”

Have a closet cleanout on your spring cleaning checklist? SEO Editor Marissa Wu recently upgraded her clothing hangers with these non-slip velvet alternatives. “[They’re] gentler on fabrics, won't slip and there’s less creasing-ish.” The hangers are also incredibly slim, meaning you can maximize your closet space. City dwellers with little-to-no closet space, you should add this one to your cart ASAP.

No matter how many times I moisturize throughout the day, those frigid winter temps and winds still have my skin begging for moisture by the end of it. In an attempt to save my skin before spring, I’m purchasing this hydrating body serum from Saltair. With ingredients like hyaluronic acid and vegan phyto-collagen, the gel serum is meant to improve the skin’s elasticity and moisture barrier—which I desperately need. Plus, it’s lightweight and fragrance-free.

“Two words: winter lifesaver,” writes Wu. “They can be worn under your trousers [and] they’re not too bulky but very warm. I was able to walk in 20 degrees and flats.” These tights also come in four skin-tone shades: tan, medium, deep and Wu’s preferred fair colorway.

Associate Social Strategist Rachel Schleider purchased these sturdy silicone stand mixer inserts to help with multi-tasking while baking. “I’m obsessed with them for when something like dough needs to proof and I can use the mixer for something else in the meantime,” she says. Not only do they securely fit into 5-quart mixers, they’re BPA-free, temperature resistant (up to 240 degrees) and microwave- and dishwasher-safe.

Candace Davison VP of Editorial Content recently bought these ear plugs—and kid-friendly noise-cancelling headphones—in preparation for an energetic weekend at Monster Jam. “I'm taking my monster truck-obsessed toddler to Monster Jam, and the No. 1 piece of advice I've gotten is: Protect your ears,” she states. “I bought these Loop earplugs for me—which I plan on using when I'm trying to focus in the office or when my husband's snoring at night too—and these cushier over-the-ear ones for my son (which I've heard don't squeeze kids' heads, like other styles do, so he'll be more likely to actually wear them).”

These laminated monthly tab stickers are perfect for organizing undated planners, and Davison is a fan: “I love paper planners. I hate rummaging around to shift from month to month, which is why I love planner tabs. Nerdy, yes, but oh how they keep me organized. These are sturdy yet small, so they don't poke out garishly from a standard 8.5-inch planner, and they don't peel off easily.”

Executive Managing Editor Catrina Yohay is focusing on her oral health this month with help from this dentist-approved electric flosser. “I'm one of those weirdos who loves going to the dentist, but I tend to slack off when it comes to flossing. At my last visit, my hygienist suggested I try this electric flosser, and at the risk of sounding like a total nerd, it is so fun to use. It's a reusable flosser, gum brush and tongue scraper in one, and I love that it leaves you with that deep-clean, fresh-from-the-dentist feeling in less than 30 seconds. It's helped make flossing a more consistent part of my routine, plus each head lasts about a week, making it way more sustainable than single-use picks.”

Mediheal’s square toner pads have become a staple in my skincare routine. I love using the Watermide and Madecassoside pads for hydration and blemish control, but the Phyto-enzyme peeling pads are my all-time favorite. They’re packed with exfoliators (LHA and natural papaya enzyme) that leave my skin smooth after one use. But I’m leaving out the best part: they’re refillable. I’m close to finishing my third refill insert, and am so glad I can repurchase them with just the click of a button.

“I've been eyeing the She’s Birdie device for myself and my sister,” says Senior Commerce Editor Stephanie Maida. “You can't put a price on peace of mind, but this raved-about personal safety alarm comes in at less than $30, so it's a no-brainer. It's equipped with a loud siren and flashing strobe light that's quick and easy to activate, and is small enough to fit on a keychain so we can always keep it close. Even better, it's fine to travel with, so we can feel extra-safe on vacation.”
