First and foremost: almost everything about the Lovesac Sactional is customizable. You choose your arm and back style (classic straight sides, angled modern sides, rolled arms or low-profile backs), the seat depth (standard or deep), the cushion fill (standard foam or Lovesac’s proprietary 'Lovesoft' blend), plus the fabric and color. That means you can build something as simple as a black, two-seater chenille loveseat with clean-lined arms, or go all-out with a blue corded-velvet, deep-seat 12-piece configuration with rolled sides. There are over 190 fabrics to choose from—ranging from linen and bouclé to twill, velvet and genuine leather—and every single cover is removable and washable (except for the leather covers, which are spot-clean only).
Where the Sactional really earns its cult status, though, is layout. The entire couch is built from individual seats and sides that you can rearrange into almost any configuration: U-shape, L-shape, chaise, pit sectional or even split into two separate seating areas. You can turn arms into backs, add or remove seats over time, and even build in storage bases, side tables, or power hubs later on. I will say, these aren’t a walk in the park to reconfigure. The pieces are heavy, and each one locks into place with hidden clamps and shoe-style feet underneath, so it’s secure—but definitely a workout. I highly recommend grabbing the Sactionals Mini Blocks Set so you can try out different couch layouts for your space before you move it.
