A couch has never really been a huge deal to me. As long as it’s kind of cute, comfortable and I get a good deal, I’m in. That was until I came across the Beyonce of couches: The Lovesac StealthTech Sactional. Not only is it endlessly customizable—from the size of the couch itself to the upholstery, pillow filling, arm shape and storage options—but it’s also extremely comfortable. The best part? It's 40 percent off for Cyber Monday (through Dec. 1 at 11:59 p.m PST)—and it comes with a free Sactionals StealthTech PowerHub.

So below, find a full breakdown of why I think it's worth every penny.

Wait, Lovesac Isn’t Just Beanbag Chairs?

First and foremost: almost everything about the Lovesac Sactional is customizable. You choose your arm and back style (classic straight sides, angled modern sides, rolled arms or low-profile backs), the seat depth (standard or deep), the cushion fill (standard foam or Lovesac’s proprietary 'Lovesoft' blend), plus the fabric and color. That means you can build something as simple as a black, two-seater chenille loveseat with clean-lined arms, or go all-out with a blue corded-velvet, deep-seat 12-piece configuration with rolled sides. There are over 190 fabrics to choose from—ranging from linen and bouclé to twill, velvet and genuine leather—and every single cover is removable and washable (except for the leather covers, which are spot-clean only).

Where the Sactional really earns its cult status, though, is layout. The entire couch is built from individual seats and sides that you can rearrange into almost any configuration: U-shape, L-shape, chaise, pit sectional or even split into two separate seating areas. You can turn arms into backs, add or remove seats over time, and even build in storage bases, side tables, or power hubs later on. I will say, these aren’t a walk in the park to reconfigure. The pieces are heavy, and each one locks into place with hidden clamps and shoe-style feet underneath, so it’s secure—but definitely a workout. I highly recommend grabbing the Sactionals Mini Blocks Set so you can try out different couch layouts for your space before you move it.

What Is StealthTech?

Now that you have the lowdown on Lovesac Sactionals, let me tell you about the brand’s newest innovation, StealthTech. In short, it’s sound and charging equipment built into in the couch that hooks up to your TV for a surround sound experience.

The Harman Kardon tech pairs with a soundbar that connects to your TV via Bluetooth and projects the sound not only from the soundbar, but also from the arms of the couch for an experience that’s more like being in a theater than sitting in your living room. You can also set your cell phone on designated areas on the arms to wirelessly charge should getting up to find an outlet prove too daunting. I’ve been using this couch going on eight months and I’m still baffled by how high-quality the sound is and how much the subwoofer amplifies the bass. (Avengers Endgame was probably not fun for my downstairs neighbor.)

But…Is It Comfortable?

Extremely. In fact, one of my fave configurations is when I put the seats in the center to shape it like a big mattress. My hubby and I have had high school-esque sleepovers out there plenty of times. The cushions are nice and supportive, and if you find you have a favorite spot on the couch and notice some denting, it’s super easy to fluff out the filling to reshape them. My one regret is not getting the deep sides, so you sit lower in the couch instead of higher up.

Anything Else You Should Know?

If you already own a Sectional, you can add StealthTech to your existing couch. Just shop your couch size and you can get the tech sent right to your house. And, if you ever want to add more seats or sides to your configuration, you can easily order the individual pieces.

Lovesac guarantees your couch base will last a lifetime, and any other pieces are available to purchase if replacements are needed. Also, when you buy your couch, you get two months to try it out and if you change your mind, you can simply return it.

The TL;DR? *Now* is the time to buy while you can get the sofa at 40 percent off—plus a free StealthTech PowerHub (normally $200 sold separately).
