Anthropologie Is Hiding Some of the Chicest Bedroom Furniture We’ve Seen
We’ve been spending waaay more time than ever before in our bedroom. It’s our WFH office, a Netflix binge-watching center and sometimes even a lunch counter (sorry, but it’s true). But our fave room in the house could use an upgrade, one we’re considering after taking into account windfalls from travel postponement, and stimulus checks…and maybe even tax refunds. Another detail driving this urge for home improvement? We may have spent a few hours perusing Anthropologie’s home decor section, during which we discovered a few cozy-yet-chic bedroom pieces we can’t live without. Here’s what caught our eye and is destined to be added to our add-to-cart, ASAP.
1. Lorainna Bed
We’d feel movie-star glam waking up in this Art Deco-influenced upholstered bed that’s eye-catching yet still subtle enough to blend seamlessly into the décor we’ve already got going on.
2. Clio Terrazzo Side Table
This jazzy three-legged table is so versatile, it’ll look just as great in your living room as it will at your bedside. We’re kinda obsessed with the terrazzo material, which is made of crushed stones set in epoxy and has seen a big comeback in interiors over the past few years.
3. Velvet Elowen Chair
We appreciate a chair to sit on when putting on our strappy heels—or perhaps just to lay out the next day’s sweatpants ensemble. And in velvet, the whole experience feels just a bit richer.
4. Hemming Bed + Boucle Headboard Cushion
This shaker-style oak veneer design features brass accents and a removable boucle cushion that fastens with cool-looking leather straps. (The cushion also comes in linen and leather, if that’s more your taste.) Finally, a pillow that’s not going to slip when we’re sitting up in bed.
5. Amber Lewis for Anthropologie Marana Table Lamp
This ceramic lamp with a linen shade is perfectly on-trend with Japandi, the new design philosophy that embraces natural, neutral tones and appreciates that surfaces like ceramic only become more charming as they accrue patina. Plus, it has the stamp of approval from star Los Angeles-based interior designer, Amber Lewis.
6. Betania Side Table
Not a lot of room for a bedside table? Measuring just twenty inches in diameter, this wooden hourglass design manages to be solid and sculptural and one-of-a-kind.
7. Vienna Bed
In channel-tufted velvet that measures 5 1/2 feet tall, this shimmery bed is a total #mood. And since the headboard is slightly curved at the head of the bed, it’s actually really cozy for reading (or scrolling) before you actually fall asleep. Did we mention the feet are brass?
8. Nora Nightstand
Brass-finished accents, a low profile and sexy rounded edges make this two-drawer storage workhorse look super sleek.
9. Cote d’Azur Study Wall Art
Blue is a restful color, and you’ll appreciate having a serene work of art opposite your bed. In case, you know, you need a visual break from bingeing true crime shows.
11. Odetta Charging Nightstand
Touches of brass and lucite ornament this side table that’s got oodles of charm—it also features hidden power outlets and USB ports, so a mass of cords don’t harsh your bedroom mellow.
12. Pearl LED Task Lamp
A lamp that’s small, modern and perky is a great counterpoint to clunky pieces of bedroom furniture and intense color schemes. And when you decide to re-decorate in late 2021, this can easily be reused as a desk lamp or a powder room accent.
