During this time of social distancing, our house has doubled as many things, including a barber shop, nail salon and gourmet restaurant. However, we didn’t know we could take our at-home spa experience to the next level…until now.
The new release features a ceramic bathtub, which is surrounded by a Hinoki wood moat. When the tub fills, the water spills over the edge and into the moat, creating a peaceful sanctuary designed to relax your mind and body. The Stillness Bath is also equipped with full spectrum lighting, so you can set the mood to your liking. (Pro tip: Add essential oils the water to further stimulate your senses.)
The Stillness Bath isn’t available for purchase (at least not yet), but you can sign up to be notified of its release on Kohler’s website. The tub was inspired by Japanese forest bathing (AKA shinrin-yoku), which involves channeling one’s presence with nature. The Stillness Bath helps create that transporting experience—even if you’re far from the nearest forest—through the use of full-spectrum lighting and essential oils.
