Our love for Haus’s all-natural, wildly popular apéritifs runs deep. We wouldn’t have made it through summer without their adorable spritz kit on hand, and you can bet we’re buying their new cocktail kit for just about everyone on our holiday list. If you’ve been planning to stock up your bar cart too, now’s the time to do it, since the Haus Cyber Monday 2021 sale shaves 20 percent off every product on the site.

In case you’re late to the party, an apéritif is a type of spirit made from fruits, herbs, roots and botanicals. Their flavors can vary from bitter to sweet, but they’re typically complex and herbaceous across the board. Our favorite thing about them is that their alcohol content tends to be lower than high-proof spirits like vodka and whiskey, but higher than most beers and wines.

If you’ve never tried one, Haus’s apéritifs are a great place to start, since they’re made exclusively with natural ingredients. Better yet, they contain a fraction of the sugar of big-brand apéritifs. (That means you can say goodbye to your usual morning hangover.)

The whole collection is worth sipping, from Rose Rosé to Bitter Clove, but we’re especially excited for the brand’s latest holiday release, Pomegranate Rosemary. It’s bright, punchy and herbaceous, thanks to a medley of pomegranate molasses, raspberries, juniper (aka the berry that gin is made from), orange peel and rosemary. It can be sipped solo on ice or used to add wintry flavor to a flute of Champagne or seltzer. You can even use it in stronger cocktails, like a whiskey-based old fashioned or a seasonal margarita.

Similar to other hit flavors, this new one may not be in stock for long, despite being a year-round release (miss you, strawberry basil). We’ll let you take it from here.
