What to Wear to the Hilary Duff 'Lucky Me' Tour

One of the most eye-catching dresses I've seen Duff wear during her tour was a silk-and-lace number juxtaposed with a...harness. And this belted peplum top is giving a similar vibe. Throw on some low-rise jeans and you've got a concert-ready outfit.

I haven't seen too much jewelry on Duff during the tour, but if you're going to accessories, it doesn't get more '90s/2000s than one of these chokers. You can grab an assorted pack of 12 here, with different designs and colors.

The tour look I'm most obsessed with is Duff's fringe dress made from GLOW-IN-THE-DARK stars. It's a custom piece by Kelsey Randall, the designer behind Taylor Swift's "The Fate of Ophelia" chainmail dress. While it's been nearly impossible to track down an exact version, I was enamored by Retrofête's Heather dress, which features a beaded star fringe. More subtle, but the joy is in noticing the details. If you splurge on anything, make it this.

Admittedly, not all of us want to get dressed to the nines and thus prioritize style over comfort. Thankfully, that doesn't mean you miss out on fun fashion. Duff has incorporated oversized graphic tees into her costume changes, so you won't be out of place if you choose to throw one on. And what better, more on-theme choice do you have than this pick from Urban Outfitters?

Something I've found interesting is that while Duff performs quite a few costume changes, she's relied on the same pair of silver metallic boots for most of her outfits. They're under her oversized, wide-leg jeans and make even more of a statement when she rocks a mini dress. That being said, you absolutely can't go wrong picking up a pair for yourself. Steve Madden's Caro boots caught my eye for the partitioned, square toe box, crinkled finish and block heel.

For me, it doesn't get more Y2k than a scarf top, and Anthropologie-loved brand Maeve makes the Clara Cami in five fun prints, including leopard, polka dot and plaid. There are so many different ways to style the scarf, too. Besides looping it around your neck, you can also use it to put up your hair.

Pair that graphic tee with some baggy jeans—Duff certainly is. Her denim comes in all states and shapes, distressed and embellished, with unconventional pockets. Sticking to Y2k means opting for a low-rise cut, but Duff has updated the style for 2026 by choosing high-waisted pants. I have a feeling she'd approve of this raw-hemmed style from Asos.

When I think about the 2000s, it's all about sequins. I'm loving this halter-neck covered in green sequins by Nia. It has a self-tying back for a little peek-a-boo moment and fun V-shaped hem. Great thrown over a pair of baggy jeans.

While Duff's outfits have been delightful and each look unique, I've noticed a trend. The pop star loves a top with flowing fabric. So much flow, in fact, that it feels like the train of a bridal gown. Maeve's 100 percent cotton open-front top feels similar, with a deep slit that bifurcates at the bust and flows just past the knees.

This shoe style has been on all the cool girls I've seen this summer, and they're very 2000s coded. The heel comes in at just under two inches and is inset for better weight distribution. Translation: You can be on your feet all night, singing along. (Please cue up "What Dreams Are Made Of.")
