The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has finally arrived, and I, for one, cannot wait to invest in a new pair of ON Running sneakers. During the epic sale, Nordy Club members can score incredible deals on best-selling brands, like ON Running, to refresh their wardrobes ahead of fall. The sale start dates are broken into tiers, with Icon members, or those who have spent $15,000 or more at Nordstrom in the last year, gaining first access, but anyone and everyone can add these sales to their wishlist to jump on the moment their tier opens up. (P.S. You can still sign up to become a card member and gain instant Influencer status.) These are the dates to keep in mind so you don’t miss out on your favorite must-haves:
- Icons: July 11 through August 6
- Ambassadors: July 12 through August 6
- Influencers: July 13 through August 6
- Public: July 17 through August 6
As for why ON is top of my wishlist, the brand has been recommended to me so many times, by avid runners, gym aficionados, daily walkers, etc., that I feel its finally time I see what all the fuss is about—especially since so many top styles are included in Nordstrom’s Anniversary deals. Rachel Gulmi, PureWow's operations director of branded content, is an avid walker who says, “I have the classic Cloud 5 sneakers ($140) and I’ve loved those so much, I decided to get a second pair of ON’s but in a more sporty style. The Cloudstratus ($170) are seriously so comfortable and I love the colorways offered. Admittedly, I’m not a runner, so I can’t speak to how they feel hitting the pavement, but I wear them every day for all sorts of different activities and they are the best. They fit like a glove from the moment you put them on and aren’t constricting at all (and I have wide feet). I’m already eyeing my next pair!”
Other fans of the brand rave about just how comfortable the sneakers are for a wide range of activities. While the styles Gulmi mentioned aren’t part of the Anniversary Sale, there are similar super-cushioned options marked down, like the Cloud X 3 (was $150; now $113), for those who want extra support while lifting at the gym, as well as sleek minimalist styles, like the Cloudswift (was $140, now $113), for folks who want to cut down on weight for speedy sprint workouts.
