K-Middy is such a fan of Jo Malone’s Orange Blossom scent, she had candles of it burning in Westminster Abbey during her wedding ceremony. Unfortunately, this set doesn’t contain Middleton’s all-time fave, but it does include Lime Basil & Mandarin, so you can discover your own signature Jo Malone scent.
Best All-Weather Shoe
Princess Diana, Markle and even the Queen herself have all been spotted wearing Hunter rain boots through the years—that’s how reliable the heritage brand is. This calf-height pair is constructed in a light, flexible rubber, so you don’t have to second-guess throwing them in your weekend bag if the forecast calls for rain.
Most Giftable Item
Speaking of beloved royal candles, Meghan and Harry reportedly used floral candles and sprays by fancy French brand Diptyque to set the mood for their wedding day, and multiple scents have been ID’d in the background of various video calls with Markle starting in 2020. So we’re totally thrilled that that a range of fragrances are included in this candle set, quintessential Diptyque favorites Figuer, Baies, Mimosa and Roses.
It’s no secret that Middleton loves classic sunnies, so of course she owns a pair of Ray-Ban Wayfarers. (She was spotted with them in hand at Wimbledon.) This classic style is so versatile, we have a feeling it’ll become your everyday go-to pair. This pair has a strong square shape and is sized up—the better to keep that royal discretion.
top Walking Shoe
Middleton has worn Aquatalia’s suede Rumba boots more times than we can count, so it’s safe to say they’re a staple in her closet. Sadly, her preferred pair isn’t featured in Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale, but we have no doubt the Duchess would approve of this ankle boot iteration, with its walkable stacked heel and weatherproof suede body.
Top Photo-Ready Makeup
Preferring to keep her makeup natural and light, Meghan is a major fan of Laura Mercier’s Illuminating Primer. Unfortunately, that particular product isn’t included in Nordstrom’s sale, but this complementary product, a setting powder is, and it can help set you up for a smooth complexion without an oily look, no matter what candid photos you happen to take during the day.
Essential Tote Bag
When Meghan opted to carry Madewell’s affordable canvas Transport Tote on her 2020 tour of South Africa, it understandably sold out almost immediately. Luckily the brand has continued to restock fairly regularly, and has also released new variations, like this neutral stunner with a two-tone striped strap. (It's also on sale in the hypnotic blue hematite colorway.)
Top Eye Makeup
This classic mascara is reportedly Kate’s go-to for finishing off her signature smoky eye looks, though she’s not the only famous fan. Anya Taylor-Joy, Penelope Cruz and Kourtney Kardashian have all praised the volumizing formula for its ability to lengthen and thicken their lashes without clumping. Best of all, this set comes with two tubes of the stuff—because switching to a fresh tube regularly keeps flakes at bay.
Most Universal Makeup Favorite
Markle's makeup artist Linda Hay did up her Mona Lisa smile in an iconic British brand for her Time magazine cover with Harry in 2021, according to Town & Country. That same exact color—Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk— is now on sale at Nordstrom in a full-size set of matte lipstick, matching lip liner and gloss. The shade is classic, flattering-on-everyone nude-pink lip. Other celebs who are fans include Nicole Kidman, Emma Roberts, and Alexa Chung. You'll be rocking your own natural-looking kisser just like the former duchess herself.
Top Color Statement
Kate Middleton knows how to wear statement color, like this Yves Klein blue shade that's a signature of Reiss. This similarly hued Reiss midi dress—another popular silhouette of K-Middy's—is on sale for half off during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.
Best Makeup Palette
Kate Middleton reportedly wore Bobbi Brown shadow and mascara on her wedding day, so you know they're long-lasting and close-up ready. This set brings 12 sunset-inspired shades—including ivory, one of the shades from Kate and William's big day—and a full-size mascara together for an assortment of looks.
Best New Classic
The Princess of Wales has been known to wear ballet flats with a little something extra—a buckle ornament up front. These embellished textile ballet flats are the perfect compromise between a plain ballet flat and a ladylike shoe, and come in four shades: black, burgundy, mulberry and navy.
Most Versatile Piece
Treasure & Bond
Emerald green is a signature color of Kate Middleton, and her appearance in a flowing midi-length number during a charity appearance evokes this dress, another jewel-tone, mid-length dress that's suitable for anything from a work day to a ladies' brunch. Long sleeves with button cuffs, covered-up with a gathered neck, this 100 percent rayon dress is going to get noticed.
