Spring is here and so are a range of royal-approved horse-related events across the pond: First up on the calendar, the Royal Windsor Horse Show, which kicked off on Monday this week. Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh—and the wife of the king’s youngest brother Prince Edward—was there to represent. While her eyes were likely on the horses, mine went to her oh-so-chic Isabel Marant handbag, called the Oskan Moon ($990).

Sophie’s handbag collection is clearly robust (we can’t stop thinking about the Strathberry style she recently carried), but the cognac hue and stud detailing on this moon-shaped bag is unique. Plus, the zipper tassel and there’s definitely an equestrian-like vibe. (How apropos!)

The good news: The Oskan Moon—in cognac—is still in stock. It’s also available in other colorways as well.

This bag is an exact replica of the style Sophie chose to carry this week.

It’s the same style—in a different colorway—but one that feels just as classic.

Yes, this is a slightly bolder hue, but this bag will provide a pop of color all spring and summer, too.

Credit to Sophie for kicking off a week of royal appearances, too. King Charles himself popped up alongside his niece (and Princess Anne’s daughter) Zara Tindall at the Royal Windsor Horse Show on Friday, a lovely mark of continuity given his mother Queen Elizabeth II’s deep affection for horses and this particular event.

As for the bag? It’s an investment, yes, but a royally-approved item you’ll likely reach for over and over again.
