Although she's settled in sunny California, Meghan Markle has a closet full of cozy sweaters and cardigans, which she pulls out for everything from filming days for her Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, to Instagram posts and public appearances. And while her preferred knits tend to fall into the categories of classic, neutral and relatively low-key, let me be the first to tell you—they're anything but basic.
Meghan Markle Can't Stop Wearing This Laid-Back (But Luxe) Cashmere Sweater
A knit worth wearing again and again

Brochu Walker
Case in point? One of her most revisited pieces: the Everyday cashmere crew sweater ($428) by Brochu Walker. Markle recently wore the style at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival, where she spoke at the premiere of Cookie Queens, a documentary she and hubby Prince Harry produced about a Girl Scout troop. But that was hardly the first time. The duchess has also donned it in behind-the-scenes footage from her podcast, in a dedicated Mother's Day post on Insta and even had one slung over her shoulders at an LA Dodgers game this past October. Clearly, it's one sweater that's worth coming back to.
Brochu Walker
Priced at a lofty $428, the crewneck features an easy, relaxed fit that promises comfort, but it's also crafted from 100 percent RWS-certified, traceable cashmere, so luxurious softness is a given. The dropped shoulders add to its laid-back feel, while a thick line of ribbing at the cuffs and hems do give it a touch of structure. At the back, a vertical center seam adds some visual interest.
The simple-yet-chic style is currently available in seven colors on the Brochu Walker website, and ranges in size from extra-small to large. Though it's pricey, I'd say this is one cashmere sweater that's worth the investment. After all, as the duchess herself has proven, you can get a ton of wear out of it.
