A spotlight on the new lululemon Cityverse sneakers in white.

We never thought the day would come when our go-to Adidas Stan Smith sneakers ($100) and Nike Air Force 1 '07s ($115) would be relegated to the back of our closets, but leave it to lululemon to make the impossible, well, possible. On Feb. 13, the brand launched its first-ever casual shoe collection, the lululemon Cityverse sneakers ($138), in four versatile colors that'll for sure go with everything this spring. However, the internet has already dubbed them the "lululemon white sneakers," so we don't have to wonder about which shade shoppers are drawn to. In addition to their super sleek look, the kicks are also being praised for their custom cushioning designed to "help your feet move ahead of the crowd," per the brand.

In fact, we just might have to update our roundup of the best white sneakers because these new Cityverse shoes check every single box. We think they have major potential to be the "It" shoe for spring this year, considering that they have already racked up thousands of views on TikTok and counting. So at this point, you would be lucky to get your hands on them before they sell out (because, trust us—these babies are gaining popularity by the minute).

Like any staple white sneakers, the Cityverse have a classic silhouette with a streamlined upper, which the brand says you can keep in tip-top shape as long as you spot clean them with a damp cloth. However, the shoes' sleek construction isn't all that matters here. We're even more intrigued by their 3D-molded, contoured cushioning which was specifically designed for the female foot. Throw in their cupped rubber outsole, which promises prime traction, and you can expect a comfortable sneaker fit for taking on a city adventure—or your everyday errands. Plus, according to one buyer, there's no need to break them in—just wear them right out of the box, and they're unlikely to disappoint.

Another reviewer shares, "They’re really sturdy and lightweight. Almost the same platform height as [Nike Air Force] 1s (I put them side by side, and these are a tiny bit shorter), so I know they’ll look good with loose jeans. These are honestly way more comfortable than [Air Force] 1s!"

If you plan on picking up a pair (which we highly suggest you do), you should know that while the shoes are reportedly true to size, the brand says you should go up a half size if you have wider feet. And just because people are scooping these shoes up in crisp white, you don't want to sleep on the other colors, which include precocious pink, juicy peach and jade whisper. They're just as versatile, and they all come with two different laces, so you can customize their look to your tastes. Whichever style you grab, you're bound to be on trend this season (and beyond!).
