Golfcore is the latest twist on athleisure to take our wardrobes by storm and I’ll admit, I kind of love it. The streamlined skorts, tailored pants and preppy polos are much easier to make work for multiple types of outings than pleated tennis skirts or oversize rugby jerseys. Add to that the kitschy fun of visors and old school wingtip golf shoes, and you’ve got a recipe for a very cute—but also practical—summer trend. And the new Stephen and Erica Malbon for Fabletics collaboration has some of the cutest golfcore options I’ve seen yet.

Fabletics

Malbon was launched in 2017 with the goal of making golf apparel that blends a traditional sport with more modern references for a more inclusive offering. I’m talking partnerships with other athletic brands like Adidas and New Balance, the founding of a digital country club, Buckets Club, and even a collab with skateboarding icon Eric Koston. And now the founders are at it again, this time with an incredibly chic unisex collection with Fabletics.

The 27-piece collaboration was designed by Stephen and Erica in collaboration with the Fabletics team with the goal of combining true performance pieces with a fashion-forward twist. Case in point, the three unique prints each inspired by a different classic golf course setting—pine trees, coastal views and desert sands.

And because it’s Fabletics, every single style will be available in the full size range, XXS to 4X for women and XS to XL for men. Personally, I’ve got my eye on the incredibly chic Polo Minidress ($109), an ideal piece for transitioning athletic apparel to something more fun for everyday wear. And the pale blue zip-up Don Vest ($120) is such a cool layering piece for fall.

The collab hits stores and the Fabletics site today, but if you see something you like, I highly advise you add it to your shopping cart ASAP. Capsule collections like this one rarely stay in stock for long, especially when they’re this cute.
