No matter where you live (or have been vacationing this summer), you've likely experienced the unrelentingly hot weather. Our editors’ go-to when it feels like you're stepping onto the surface of the sun? Linen. The natural fabric isn't just a chic option for summer, it's totally breathable, too, allowing for airflow to keep you as cool as possible. Plus, it’s moisture-wicking. The downside? High-quality linen often means a high price tag, but our editors (who test products all year long to find the best of the best) have come across some seriously good options for under $150. Below, 11 linen finds that we swear by.

Believe me when I tell you that if I had to choose just one pair of linen pants to always have in my wardrobe, it would be The Linen Easy pants from Everlane. They're made from the kind of high-quality linen that feels like it gets softer every time I wear them—which is often—and, thankfully, they're machine-washable so I don't have to spend any extra time caring for them after each wear. They also have a 28.5-inch inseam, which is the perfect full-length for me (being 5'2'') and a versatile mid-rise, straight-leg cut that will never go out of style.

2. Tuckernuck x Studio McGee Augusta Shorts

Tuckernuck x Studio McGee

These shorts, which are part of the chic summer collection that Tuckernuck and Studio McGee collaborated on, are so worth it for their high-quality construction, according to PureWow Senior Editor Dana Dickey. "These linen-blend shorts are going to last for [many] seasons since they are so well-made they don't get sheer or look tatty after multiple washings. Also, the pull-on design doesn't pooch in the seat—the downfall of many elastic-waist shorts by the end of the season." The shorts are a linen/cotton blend with a full cotton lining, too, so it's no wonder they're so comfortable, cooling and flattering.

Looking for a linen blazer you can wear in any season? Well, luckily, PureWow Executive Editor Dara Katz has put in the work for you and found the perfect one—for just $80 at that. "Sometimes a blazer does too much blazer-ing—the severity of the shoulder pads, the masculine lines, the seriousness of the whole silhouette," she says. "But a linen blazer, especially in white, manages the delicate balance of masculine and feminine energy. I love that adding this layer adds a bit of edge but isn't all business." Well, I'm sold.

Dickey also can't get enough of these comfy pull-on pants from Madewell made from 100 percent linen. "It's embarrassing how often I wear these elastic-waist pants, which are both comfortable and flattering even in the ultra-hot, humid weather. The pale pink is surprisingly versatile with neutrals, and the side slash pockets aren't bulky. These machine-wash well, [but I do suggest] sizing down," she says. Comfortable pants that still look totally polished? Yeah, these deserve a spot in your closet.

As for PureWow SEO Editor Marissa Wu, one of her go-to brands for linen pieces is Lilly Pulitzer. "I have been wearing Lilly Pulitzer linen for a few years now, and appreciate the durability. In particular, I like their linen blouses. They're easy to style, with enough fabric to tuck into my trousers without feeling like I'm trying to shovel down a fountain of material, but also breezy enough to wear untucked as well," she explains. "Linen is overall my big summer winner because it's not fragile—I just toss it in the wash and line dry. (And that's the other thing—it dries so quickly!) [Lilly Pulitzer] serves up a classic retro style I love, at a decent price point." This top in particular is designed with a roomy fit that's sure to keep you feeling extra cool in it, too, and the wide straps are bra-friendly, so it's an all-around win.

"Quince’s [shorts] rival ones I’d tried for twice the price, and I like that while they’re a bit loose and flowy, they don’t bunch up and look like adult bloomers (another issue I’ve run into with linen shorts)," shares Candace Davison, PureWow VP of Editorial. She especially loves the design of these ones for their chic, coastal-inspired design, too, and explains, "The blue pinstripe is just the right coastal touch for helping me live out my Nancy Meyers summer dreams, pairing nicely with a crisp button-down or crewneck tee and minimalist jewelry." And she's not the only one who raves over them. Hundreds of Quince shoppers have given them a 5-star rating celebrating their comfy waistband, "perfect" length and flattering fit. At just $30, how can you resist?!

Like me, Dickey's another huge fan of Everlane's linen designs—this time calling out just how good the brand's Cargo Curve pants are. "These pants are so lightweight and breezy that they feel like wearing shorts. A 26.5-inch inseam means they’re not dragging on the ground, even when I’m pairing with ultra-flat flip-flops, and the high waist lengthens the line of the gathered design. I really liked that [they] have a drawstring hem [that allows me to] wear them multiple ways: Drawn tight, they fit into the recent harem pants look, and loose, these look more [like a] traditional trouser. The side cargo pockets also don’t look too bulky (usually a red flag for short-legged gals like me)," she raves while going on to say, "I wear mine with the matching crossbank tank—because matching sets are so summer 2025." I'll certainly be taking that styling advice.

"I wear this dress at least once a week in the summer, sometimes more," shares PureWow Fashion Editor Abby Hepworth. "The cut is so incredibly flattering, can easily be dressed up or down and is wonderfully comfortable. And because the linen is rather thick, it doesn’t wrinkle nearly as easily as so many other linen pieces I own. I suppose you could get away with no bra (the material is fairly thick and the bust is quite supportive), but I'd recommend at least wearing some nipple covers or a bandeau to protect your skin from the rough linen," she further explained. Considering how much she wears and and the fact that it's just $80, you might want to snag it in more than one color while it's still in stock.

I knew I'd love these linen-blend pants from Abercrombie & Fitch from the second I took them out of the package. They're so soft and have a full lining (made from a breathable viscose material) that adds coverage, so they aren't see-through even in light colors. The lining also adds some weight to them, so I know I'll be able to them well into fall without feeling too cold, and I love that the drawstring waist is adjustable so I can tighten or loosen them throughout the day. What's even better is that they come in short, regular and long lengths, so I didn't have to worry about getting them hemmed or them dragging on the ground.

Yes, this might *technically* be a pajama set—but I suggest you take another styling cue from Dickey and wear it outside of the house, too. Skeptical? Just wait until you hear what she has to say about the versatility of this 100 percent linen set. "Basically this is three looks in one, for $60," she states. "The top is a breezy blouse, the pants are pull-on perfection, and I wear the set with a statement belt and sandals as resortwear. Also, I like to wear these as directed, to sleep at night." Personally, I'm sold on anything that's comfortable enough to sleep in but stylish enough to wear out to brunch, too, so I won't be wasting any time before adding this set straight to my cart—and you might want to follow my lead.

Another fab find from Hepworth, this linen-blend mini dress is a must for any summer wardrobe. Here's why: "This mini dress is made of material that's 55 percent linen, 45 percent rayon, meaning it has much more stretch than your average linen frock. It also wrinkles less easily, which I really appreciate. It's still just as lightweight and breathable as you want linen to be, just a bit softer and more forgiving. And I love that the straps are removable should I want to rock it as a strapless dress for cocktails with friends. P.S. It's also fully lined!" Well, that certainly sounds like it couldn't get any better, so I'd jump on this one while it's half-off if I were you.
