anthro try-on

Anthro is where I go when I want to feel inspired again. Not just to shop, but to reset my eye. When I feel like I’m stuck in a style rut or getting dressed has started to feel like a chore, it’s where I go to remember that fashion can still be fun.

What I’ve realized lately, though, is that I’m not interested in pieces that only work in theory. I want clothes that hold up in real life. Things that make me feel like myself. This edit is exactly that. It’s a mix of skirts, easy tops, relaxed denim and a few standout dresses that don’t require a whole plan to wear. Everything here works on its own, but also plays well together, which is truly a dream for the summer months. When buying, don’t overthink it. Just throw them on and go!

I was immediately drawn to the blue colors of this mini, but the fit is what really makes it. It’s nicely cinched at the waist, giving you a defined shape, while the puff sleeves keep the arms roomy and breathable, so nothing feels tight or restrictive up top. The fabric has a bit of stretch (it’s a cotton blend with elastane), which helps it hug in the right places without clinging. To top it off, the neckline sits slightly close, something you’ll notice if you don’t love anything snug near your collar. Overall, it’s a rare mix. Tailored where you want shape, looser where you want comfort.

The Colette is a favorite for a reason. They’re flat and tailored in the front, so you get that pulled-together look, and then they open up into a wide leg that’s actually very roomy (not fake roomy). The high-rise fit hugs just enough through the waist and hips before easing out, so you feel held in, not squeezed super tight. For me, the real win is that they don’t betray you the second you sit down. The rise stays put, the fabric has some give, and they don’t suddenly hike up to capri’s the minute you bend your knees.

This dog-lover-at-the-park-approved top is slightly cropped, so it hits higher on the waist, which is great for high-rise pants, but if you have a longer torso, just know this might start feeling like a midriff situation real quick. Yet, it’s still fit with a little less length and a little more attitude.

picro mini dress

If I didn’t already own 20 short dresses, this one would come home with me. It’s great for beachy long weekends or mini summer vacays. The cotton fabric keeps it light and breathable, while the cinched waist and button-front give it shape, but airy enough to wear all day. I’d wear it with sandals, sneakers or even barefoot by the water. The pockets don’t hurt either.

midi skirt with stripes

Confession: When I first saw this skirt, I fully thought it was a mini dress. Probably because I didn’t want anything getting in the way of that striped style. I even tried to make it work as a dress in the fitting room…which did NOT go well. Wore it as a skirt instead, as intended, and now I’m obsessed. I paired it with a fun tee, but it works with just about anything.

If your denim drawer has been feeling a little blah lately, meet the pair that fixes everything. For starters, these jeans hit at a true mid-rise (so no constant adjusting), skim the hips and thighs without clinging, and fall into an easy straight leg. What sells them, though, is how wearable they are. The denim is soft from the start, so you don’t have to suffer through that stiff, break-them-in phase, and they move with you instead of working against you. You’ll wear them with everything—tees, button-downs, even a blazer—and they just work.

  • Material: Cotton and lyocell

This midi dress looks rather simple on the hanger but really comes alive once it’s on. The fit is slim and body-skimming without feeling tight, thanks to that soft lyocell knit, which has just enough give to move with you instead of holding you hostage. It pulls on easily (no zippers or annoying buttons) and fits to your shape in a really flattering way.

bucket hat
anthropologie

Give me a bucket hat and a beach, and I’m a happy lady. But this hat is so comfy I’d wear it bopping around the city or running errands. Yes, it gives major vacation vibes, but it’s rather versatile. The woven straw keeps it lightweight and breathable (a must for hot days), while the shape actually frames your face instead of falling flat. It looks just as good with a breezy dress as it does with a tee and denim.
