We’ve been scouring our favorite sites for new things to add to our autumn outfit rotation, and we can confidently say that the Abercrombie & Fitch fall collection has some of our favorite pieces yet. The brand is of course known for its fabulous jeans selection, including the famous Curve Love ‘90s (was $90, now $77) that are made to fit curvier bodies better than standard sizing, but we’re also eyeing the coat selection, because there are tons to choose from, including the Wool-Blend Dad Coat (was $200, now $187) and this unique Wool-Blend Scarf Jacket for something more versatile.

What’s in Style This Fall?

This fall, neutrals are as popular as ever, and according to our fashion editor, Abby Hepworth, rich neutrals are the way to go. ”Brown was a surprising trend with which to kick off 2023, but it’s only become more popular as the year goes on,” she notes. “And now it’s been joined by other rich hues like cream, dark green, gray, butter yellow and caramel.” Opting for straight-leg denim that is cuffable is a great way to go, too, according to assistant fashion commerce editor, Stephanie Meraz.

How We Chose the Best Abercrombie & Fitch Fall Collection Items

We’re already huge proponents of Abercrombie & Fitch, so to pull together this list, our editors selected items that are in their carts, that they’ve recently bought and loved or that they feel like will be huge hits based on trends of the season.

Must-Have Skirt

1. Abercrombie & Fitch Faux Leather Midi Skirt

Abercrombie & Fitch

  • Size Range: 24 to 34

Midi and maxi skirts are a hot commodity this year, and if you want to opt for something a little different than the standard denim pick, faux leather is a great alternative. “I love this take on the denim maxi skirt,” says commerce director Nicole Briese. The front slit is sexy and will give your legs room for movement, and it has an ultra-high-rise fit that’s oh-so flattering (and comfy).

Best Neutral Coat

2. Abercrombie & Fitch Wool-Blend Dad Coat

Abercrombie & Fitch

  • Size Range: XXS to XXL

The relaxed shape of this coat is great for adding thick layers underneath without feeling like a stuffed sausage. It’s made of a thick wool-blend that is sure to keep you warm on those especially cool autumn evenings, and has three front buttons to close and two side pockets. “This is the coat I’ve been looking [at] to replace the similar silhouette I’ve had in my capsule wardrobe forever,” says senior editor Dana Dickey. You can also grab this in a petite, regular or tall size based on your proportions—just be sure to check the size chart first.

Sleek Sweater Alternative

3. Abercrombie & Fitch Crew Sweater Tee

Abercrombie & Fitch

  • Size Range: XXS to XL

Big, chunky sweaters aren’t the only kind of knitwear you should own when it gets chilly out. Lightweight and even short-sleeve options like this tee are optimal for layering, especially if you know you get overheated pretty easily. “I’m a basics girl through and through and this sweater tee is a perfect substitute for a standard cotton option to wear under cardigans and blazers or all by itself,” says commerce editor Olivia Dubyak.

Everyday Jeans

4. Abercrombie & Fitch Mid Rise Baggy Jeans

Abercrombie & Fitch

  • Size Range: 24 to 34

Jeans that are somewhere in between super baggy and super skinny are the way to go this season, and the cuffed hems on this pair have us hooked. Plus, our fashion editor Abby Hepworth has been wear-testing these for a while now and says she really loves them. They come in short, regular and long sizes as well as four different washes, all of which have a mid-rise waist.

Most Flattering Top

5. Abercrombie & Fitch Easy Wrap Top

Abercrombie & Fitch

  • Size Range: XXS to XL

A sweater wrap top that is slightly cropped will look gorgeous with your mid- or high-waist bottoms. This sweater wraps in the front (with no manual ties) and has ribbed detailing at the sleeves and waist for some added texture. “ I’m always in a sweater come fall, but this feels like a breath of fresh air thanks to that V-neck and rib trims—it’s totally different than my usual oversize knit (basically blanket),” says assistant fashion commerce editor Stephanie Meraz.

Two-in-One Jacket

6. Abercrombie & Fitch Wool-Blend Scarf Jacket

Abercrombie & Fitch

  • Size Range: XXS to XL

Multiple editors have their eyes on this unique jacket, which not only has a cropped, oversize look, but also a removable matching scarf. The double-cloth wool-blend material is medium weight for the perfect fall outer layer and the structured, boxier fit will give you plenty of space for bigger garments underneath. “I mean, who doesn’t love a two-in-one? I love the timeless appeal and can’t wait to layer it throughout fall and winter,” says Abby Hepworth.

Easiest Layering Piece

7. Abercrombie & Fitch Slash Bodysuit

Abercrombie & Fitch

  • Size Range: XXS to XL

Bodysuits are so practical when you don’t feel like tucking your tops into to your pants (and subsequently fussing with the combination all day long). This style has side ruching and a sexy boatneck neckline that will accentuate your collar bone. It comes in multiple colors, and according to Dubyak, it’s super soft and stretchy. “I am 28 weeks pregnant and it stretches over my bump easily and is super soft against my skin,” she says.

Most Unique Shirt

8. Abercrombie & Fitch Mesh Slash Top

Abercrombie & Fitch

  • Size Range: XXS to XL

If you are looking something a little sexier, we can’t help but recommend this sleek and sultry mesh long-sleeve top, which is ruched down the middle and available in black and a light tan shade. “Was I over the sheer trend until I saw this mesh blouse? Yes, yes I was. Now I need this in my life,” says Meraz. Also, for less than $30, it’s a no-brainer. Make sure to refer to the washing instructions before you clean it, so you can make sure the material stays nice over time.

Classic Knitwear

9. Abercrombie & Fitch Notch-Neck Sweater

Abercrombie & Fitch

  • Size Range: XXS to XL

Elevate your go-to sweater look with this cute notch-neck option. The sleeves are long—perfect for cuffing—and have a ribbed texture, too. “I love the laid-back, ‘70s vibe of this sweater, and the teal color is definitely something I need more of in my closet,” says assistant commerce editor Natalie LaBarbera. It also comes in five other colors in case you want to grab a few.

Essential Plaid Coat

10. Abercrombie & Fitch Wool-Blend Mod Coat

Abercrombie & Fitch

  • Size Range: XXS to XL

Nothing says fall like a plaid coat. This one is made of a midweight wool-blend to keep you warm without being too heavy and it has five buttons on the front to bundle you up. “This plaid coat reminds me of the little jacket Annie and Hallie wear to/from camp in The Parent Trap, and I'm obsessed. It'll be such a great pop against my all-neutral wardrobe,” wellness director Sarah Stiefvater says. You can grab this outer piece in petite, regular and tall sizes.

Best Relaxed Jeans

11. Abercrombie & Fitch Curve Love ‘90s Jeans

Abercrombie & Fitch

  • Size Range: 23 to 37

If you’re an avid jeans wearer every fall, you’re going to want to invest in a pair that’s comfy, versatile and timeless. This pair has a relaxed shape without looking too baggy, and the curve sizing is a game-changer. “I have wide hips and these jeans are unmatched when it comes to flattering my shape. I grabbed these in the dark brown as a switch up from my typical denim shades in my closet,” says Dubyak.

Best Tailored Pants

12. Abercrombie & Fitch Tailor Relaxed Pants

Abercrombie & Fitch

  • Size Range: 23 to 37

There are endless tops that will look cute with these tailored pants, from graphic tees to chunky sweaters. The pleats and relaxed silhouette make these bottoms the perfect mix of business and casual. “I have about ten trousers in my collections, but one more can’t hurt, right? Or at least that’s what I’m saying to myself after seeing [these],” says Meraz. These pants run on the longer side, so make sure to reference the sizing chart in case you need to grab a shorter pair.

Best Wedding Guest Dress

13. Abercrombie & Fitch Twist-Front Midi

Abercrombie & Fitch

  • Size Range: XXS to XL

Fall wedding season is here and we can’t help but picture this luxe little number with a wrap draped over your shoulders. The twist front is a flattering take on an empire waist shape and the front slit will ensure you can easily dance the night away without feeling constricted. It’s also available in black and turquoise.

Best Boots

14. Abercrombie & Fitch Pointed Boots

Abercrombie & Fitch

  • Size Range: 6 to 10

Pointed-toe boots are on our radar this fall and this pair has a short heel coming in at just under three inches for those of you who don’t like too much height. They’re made of a luxurious vegan leather and come in black and cream.

Best Loungewear

15. Abercrombie & Fitch Essential Vintage Sunday Half-Zip

Abercrombie & Fitch

  • Size Range: XXS to XL

There’s nothing like cozying up in a comfy sweatshirt during chilly fall weather. This one has a billowy shape that won’t cling to your body, and the half-zip is sleek and functional. To top it all off, this casual staple comes in three neutral shades.
