Memorial Day weekend is finally (almost) here, and you know what that means—it's time for some serious savings on all your favorite brands. Case in point: the coveted 4moms MamaRoo Multi-Motion Baby Swing (was $270; now $216), is currently 20 percent off during the brand's Memorial Day sale when you use code 4MDW20 at checkout, saving you upwards of $50 on it. (Psst: You can also snag the savings at mega retailers like Amazon and Walmart over the holiday weekend, too.) Our editors think the swing is totally worth it even at full price, thanks to its ability to soothe a fussy baby. Here's why mamas won't want to miss out on the deal.

The special sauce of this swing, according to PureWow executive editor Alexia Dellner's review, is that it uses tech to upgrade the plain ole baby swing. It has five movements and five speeds, and enables you to choose which motion-speed combo is the most like the one you use to soothe your baby. “The free MamaRoo app has a new ‘Find Your Roo’ function that lets parents find the device’s rocking motion that best mimics their own rocking," Dellner notes. "Simply start the app and start rocking your phone as if it was your baby (and yes, you’ll feel ridiculous, but anything to calm a fussy newborn, right?). The app then recommends which motion to set your Roo in order to make the transition from your arms to the swing as seamless as possible.”

The swing has celeb fans as well. After having her daughter in 2020, Gigi Hadid received one as a gift from her family and dubbed it "great entertainment while mama gets something done." Our editors agree, and appreciate that the 26.25-inch deep and 35.5-inch tall seat is only 15 pounds, so it's not going to overwhelm any room or be tough to reposition. Finally, the seat cover is sturdy and machine washable, so any spit up or stain is no big deal. And since this swing is rated safe until kids are 25 pounds or until they hit the crawling-out stage, you'll get good use out of it—and the cost-per-swing value is even higher if you snatch one up while you can snag it on sale during 4moms Memorial Day sale. So grab the tech-enabled rock-a-bye-baby experience now and make that baby—and mom—happy.
