Virgin River fans, you might want to sit down for this because we have not one, but two big announcements to share.

Netflix has announced that the fifth season will premiere on—drumroll, please—September 7. Not only will there be two parts, but there will also be special holiday episodes debuting on November 30.

The caption read, “Virgin River Season 5 will be streaming on Netflix September 7th! I repeat, September 7th! Better yet… There will be a part two. Our HOLIDAY episodes will be released on November 30th. Get excited y’all.”

But wait, there’s more: The streaming platform has also renewed the drama series for a sixth season before the season five debut.

Prior to the news, some cast members teased the possibility of a summer release for the fifth season. For example, Virgin River star Martin Henderson, who plays Jack Sheridan in the series, hinted that the new installment could debut in July. Back in February, the 48-year-old actor filmed a Cameo video for a fan and addressed the premiere date for season five.

Virgin River season five [is] coming out, I think, probably in July. So, not long now, a few months,” he said in the vid. “Another installment of hot, steamy gossip and intrigue on the river.”

In addition, actress Alexandra Breckenridge (AKA Melinda “Mel” Monroe), 41, previously shared the same sentiment in a separate Cameo video she filmed on her own. “The fifth season that’ll come out probably, I don’t know, maybe July again?” she said, according to Hello! Magazine. “I’m not sure, nobody’s really updated me!”

Virgin River follows a young woman named Melinda “Mel” Monroe (Breckenridge), who is a nurse practitioner looking for a new start. Mel moves to a small town called Virgin River and tries to adjust to her new life, which happens to involve a romantic relationship with Jack (Henderson).

We. Can’t. Wait.
