The Movie that Earned Sandra Bullock an Oscar Is Now the #1 Film on Netflix

If you're feeling like watching more of Sandra Bullock after the release of her hit comedy The Lost City, then Netflix's new number-one film will certainly be of interest.

Bullock's 2009 drama, The Blind Side, has been uploaded to the streaming site, where it quickly moved into the top spot on Netflix's list of most-watched movies. Based on the 2006 book The Blind Side: Evolution of a Game by Michael Lewis, the film centers around the story of NFL player Michael Oher and his relationship with his adoptive family, including Sean (Tim McGraw) and Leigh Anne Tuohy (Bullock).

Among Bullock's many iconic performances throughout the years, The Blind Side is considered to be one of her best. For her role as Tuohy, Bullock earned an Academy Award, Critics' Choice Award, Golden Globe Award, Screen Actors Guild Awards and People's Choice Award (NBD). And now it appears that Netflix users want to revisit her award-winning turn as Tuohy.

In the clip, we see the Tennessee accent Bullock adopted while playing the part of Tuohy, as well as the major hair color change she underwent to look like the real-life American businesswoman and interior designer.

Right now, The Blind Side is sitting above recent Netflix original films, like The Adam Project and The Bubble. Other titles filling out the top ten include all three installments from the Shrek trilogy, the Ryan Gosling-starring Blade Runner 2049 and Blade Trinity.

Bullock's films have been doing quite well these past few weeks. When The Lost City premiered in theaters last weekend, it replaced The Batman as the number-one movie at the box office.

We will definitely be having a Sandra Bullock movie marathon this weekend.
