Pluribus is shaping up to be one of the best shows of 2025. After its debut first two episodes on November 7, it already has a 100 percent Rotten Tomatoes score and 80 percent on the Popcorn meter. The post-apocalyptic science fiction series stars Rhea Seehorn as Carol Sturka, a fantasy romance author who survives the outbreak of an alien virus. Think Seehorn looks familiar? I did, too. Here's where we've seen her before.

She's Best Known for Better Call Saul

Seehorn is best known for her role as Kim Wexler in AMC's Better Call Saul. The series is part of the Breaking Bad universe, following Saul Goodman, formerly the con man Jimmy McGill, in the two years before he ultimately becomes Walter White's lawyer.

Kim is Saul's colleague at Hamlin & McGill (HHM) law firm and also his romantic interest. Better Call Saul ran for six seasons, from 2015 to 2022. For her work, Seehorn was nominated for two Emmy awards for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series and winning the Television Critics Association Award for Individual Achievement in Drama.

Who Is Rhea Seehorn's Character in Pluribus?

In Pluribus, Seehorn's Carol Sturka must survive as one of 13 people left alive after the devastating outbreak. To complicate matters, she's being pursued by a hive mind working to assimilate the remaining immune individuals. The season will have a total of nine episodes, with AppleTV having ordered two seasons total. For the project, Seehorn reunited with Better Call Saul's creator, Vince Gilligan.

What Else Has She Been In?

Seehorn's past work is mostly independent films and shorts, including Riders (2001) and Floating (1997). In 2021, she co-starred opposite Amanda Seyfried in the horror thriller Things Heard & Seen.

As for her upcoming projects, she joins the indie hostage thriller Eleven Days. The film is set in 1974 at a Texas prison, where a warden must face off against an inmate, whose failed escape turns into a hostage situation. The film is currently in production with a release date TBA.
