It’s pretty rare for a show to stay hyped between seasons, but Nobody Wants This is clearly the exception. Since it premiered in fall 2024, the buzz around Netflix’s sharp and surprising rom-com hasn’t slowed down—and fans (myself included) are already counting the days until season two drops in October 2025.

ICYMI, Nobody Wants This is a romantic comedy created by Erin Foster and starring Kristen Bell and Adam Brody as Joanne and Noah—an agnostic sex podcaster and an unconventional rabbi who fall into a deeply complicated, unexpected relationship. The cast also includes Justine Lupe as Joanne’s younger sister and podcast co-host Morgan, plus Timothy Simons as Noah's older brother.

Let’s be real: if you’re anything like me, you probably already recognized Bell (Veronica Mars, The Good Place) and Brody (The O.C., Promising Young Woman) right away. But when it came to Lupe, I had a total “Wait, where do I know her from?” moment. And after a quick internet deep dive (code for IMDb), it turns out—she’s been in a ton.

Most notably, Lupe played Willa Ferreyra in Succession, aka Connor Roy’s much-younger girlfriend-turned-wife with dreams of being a playwright. She started out as a recurring character in seasons one and two before becoming a series regular in seasons three and four.

She’s also appeared in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, the Mila Kunis thriller Luckiest Girl Alive, A Midsummer Night's Dream and shows like Snowfall and Younger. So yeah, she’s been around.

Whether you’re already a fan or just catching up, Nobody Wants This is clearly a cast full of heavy hitters—and I'm already counting down to October.
