As a beauty editor, the brand I love that I don’t see people talk enough about is Saie. I’ve been using their products religiously for years, and I’m here to tell (and show) you why it should be on your radar. They have a ton of products, but I’ve narrowed it down to eight faves you need in your collection, from the Dew Blush to Slip Tint.

What Is Saie?

Saie launched in November 2019 with a heavy focus on high-quality formulas and sustainable practices. As the brand writes, “We create products that are formulated by experts, backed by industry secrets and made for beauty fans everywhere.” The clean beauty brand includes staple makeup items for the face, cheeks, lips and eyes.

How I Tested Saie

I’ve had a few Saie staples in my collection for years. The Dew Blush and Slip Tint Concealer are my tried-and-true products in my routine. But along with my favorites, I did some additional research on other best-sellers, spending a few weeks testing each and analyzing their quality, finish and pigment. Here’s how it went.

1. Saie Glowy Super Gel Illuminator

What We Like

  • comes in a glass bottle
  • four universal shades
  • hydrating
  • offers soft glow

What We Don't Like

  • finicky pump
  • sticky upon applying

Saie

If you’re looking for a glowy finish, look no further than this illuminator by Saie. It promises an “instant lit-from-within” look and it truly doesn’t hold back on the shimmer. It’s a great option to wear under makeup, mix with foundation or as a highlighter. It’s formulated with plant-derived glycerin, squalane and rosehip seed oil, which I found hydrating, brightening and gentle on my skin. The gel has a light, buttery texture, so it can be applied using just my fingertips. Just one pump of product was enough to spread across my whole face. That said, I suggest giving it 10 to 20 seconds to settle into the skin as it can feel sticky upon application. It comes in four shades, but I prefer “Rosegold” in the cooler months and “Sunglow” for bronzier look for the warmer months ahead. You can even take it up a notch and apply the product over your body if you want a head-to-toe luminous appearance.

Fast Facts

  • Shades: 4
  • Key Ingredients: glycerin, squalane, rosehip seed oil

2. Saie Slip Tint Concealer Corrector

What We Like

  • blends well
  • doesn't settle into fine lines or wrinkles
  • lightweight formula
  • hydrating

What We Don't Like

  • can present minor creasing

Saie

The Slip Tint concealer has been a staple in all my makeup looks. I wear “Shade 13,” and it’s enough to brighten the under-eye, conceal dark spots and complement my complexion. The doe-foot applicator makes it easy to swipe product on my face, and it works well with a blending brush. It has niacinamide to even skin tone, along with plant-derived glycerin and hyaluronic acid to lock in moisture. The creamy formula offers medium coverage and a soft satin finish without looking cakey at the end of the day. The concealer also promises 12-hour wear and I stand by its claim, however, I did experience minor creasing.

Fast Facts

  • Shades: 25
  • Key Ingredients: plant-derived glycerin, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide

3. Saie Airset Radiant Loose Setting Powder

What We Like

  • lightweight
  • smoothes skin
  • safe for sensitive skin

What We Don't Like

  • slight shimmer
  • finicky jar

Saie

When I have difficulty with concealer creases and an oily T-zone, this loose setting powder worked its magic. It aims to set, smooth and diffuse—a major necessity for combo girlies like myself. The secret is the product’s aerated-cream technology, which is code for absorbing excess oil. The setting powder also contains squalane to lock in moisture and mica for a radiant glow. It comes in three shades, but I prefer the translucent option for my skin tone. I used a fluffy brush or a powder puff and gently patted it along my under-eye and any areas prone to excess oil. It does a great job at removing any unnecessary shine and blurring the skin for a soft matte finish.

Fast Facts

  • Shades: 3
  • Key Ingredients: squalane, mica

4. Saie Slip Tint Sunscreen Tinted Moisturizer

What We Like

  • contains SPF 35
  • offers light coverage
  • hydrating

What We Don't Like

  • can get messy and seperate
  • not transfer-proof

Saie

I read Executive Editor Dara Katz’s raving review on the tinted moisturizer and was completely sold. It gets major praise for evening out your complexion and protecting your skin against UVA/UVB rays. It blended seamlessly onto my skin without the need for a makeup brush. It’s infused with licorice root extract for brightening and hyaluronic acid for hydrating the skin. It also has 100 percent mineral zinc oxide and a tinted element that works well with my complexion. I appreciate that it’s not super dewy, but offers sheer coverage that doesn’t make me look greasy.

Fast Facts

  • Shades: 14
  • Key Ingredients: licorice root extract, hyaluronic acid, mineral zinc oxide

5. Saie Sun Melt Natural Cream Bronzer

What We Like

  • great for all skin tones
  • buildable
  • blends well

What We Don't Like

  • finicky packaging

Saie

You don’t have to book a one-way ticket to the tropics to get a bronzy look. This creamy product adds warmth and a sun-kissed glow. It has a balmy texture that melts nicely on the skin, making it easy to blend, build or layer with foundation. Key ingredients include colloidal oatmeal to soothe, moisturize and smooth skin, as well as grapeseed oil to nourish and elderberry extract to visibly brighten and protect skin. I spent time applying it on my cheekbones, forehead and temple—and who needs a self-tanner?

Fast Facts

  • Shades: 6
  • Key Ingredients: colloidal oatmeal, grapeseed oil, elderberry extract

6. Saie Dew Blush

What We Like

  • great color payoff
  • blends well
  • creamy formula
  • lasts all day

What We Don't Like

  • sticky texture

Saie

This blush is by far my favorite product from Saie. I’ve talked about it immensely with other editors and it’s a hit with celebs. The liquid-cream formula offers a pop of color that truly made me a blush convert. All you need is 1-2 dots of product and a brush (or finger tips) to glide it nicely across the cheekbones. Infused with glycerin, elderberry fruit extract and licorice root extract, it’s nourishing, comfortable and buildable. It comes in 11 shades, but I prefer “Sweetie,” “Spicy” and “Chilly” for my flushed look.

Fast Facts

  • Shades: 11
  • Key Ingredients: glycerin, elderberry fruit extract, licorice root extract

7. Saie Mascara 101

What We Like

  • lengthens lashes
  • great color payoff
  • safe for sensitive eyes

What We Don't Like

  • doesn't curl lashes
  • pricey
  • not waterproof

Saie

If you need a daily mascara, this one fits the bill. It does a great job at lengthening and thickening my lashes without being too dramatic for day-to-day wear. It has organic beeswax to lengthen, shea butter to nourish and hydra-mineral complex to strengthen lashes. It doesn’t necessarily curl or do well with adding layers, but nonetheless it’s great for a little oomf to my natural look. Plus, the wand is designed to separate and define the upper and lower hairs with ease.

Fast Facts

  • Shades: 2
  • Key Ingredients: organic beeswax, shea butter

8. Saie Glossybounce Lip Gloss Oil

What We Like

  • cushiony feel
  • high-shine
  • non-sticky formula
  • hydrating

What We Don't Like

  • shine fades

Saie

It’s no secret that I’m a lip oil hoarder, so I was pumped to try out Saie’s. This hybrid lip product has the slip of a lip oil and the tinted high-shine of a gloss. The doe-foot applicator makes it easy to glide nicely on my lips. It has an oil blend featuring castor seed, jojoba seed and coconut that adds softness and shine to my pout—plus, hyaluronic acid, shea butter and carnauba wax to lock in moisture all day. It’s available in 12 shades (nine sheer and three shimmer) that all work for a juicy finish.

Fast Facts

  • Shades: 12
  • Key Ingredients: hyaluronic acid, jojoba oil, shea butter

The Bottom Line: Don’t Sleep On Saie

Saie

It’s become a favorite of mine because it works so well for combination skin. Whether I’m using the blush or concealer, it often leaves a soft matte finish that’s not at all drying. As a clean beauty brand, all the products have skin-loving ingredients that’s gentle and comfortable on my sensitive skin. If you’re looking for daily staples or want to dabble in dramatic looks, the brand has a wide variety of colors to choose from. So I hope I persuaded you to consider at least one product on this list—trust me, it’s worth checking out.
