There are a few brands that have been on my radar lately and REFY has definitely been one of them. It launched in 2020 with a clear message: simplifying beauty. With their minimal packaging and vegan, cruelty-free *and* fragrance-free products, I was curious to check out the buzziest brand of 2025. Aside from going viral on TikTok, PureWow has been covering the brand for a while, so it’s about time I do an honest review and see if it’s worth the hype.
First, What Is REFY?
It was created by co-founders Jenna Meek and Jess Hunt, who wanted to create products that enhance your natural beauty. Five years ago, they started with brow products, including their popular Brow Sculpt. “It was just kind of there to simplify your routine, and it’s turned into this big, crazy brand,” Meek told Harper Baazar. “I think TikTok’s had a huge role to play in that, and social in general. It’s crazy to be on this journey and grateful that people love the brand.” As their popularity grew, they began adding lip, face, body and more products into the mix.
How I Tested the REFY Collection
Although REFY has a ton of products, I stuck to the best-sellers to see if they are truly worth the raving reviews. I tried multiple shades and did different looks over a course of a few weeks to see how it worked with my skin. Keep reading to see which products made the list.
My Review of REFY Collection
1. REFY Brow Sculpt
What We Like
- nourishing formula
- comes with brush/comb applicator
- smoothes down curly hairs
What We Don't Like
- takes up too much product
REFY
After co-founder Meek couldn’t find a brow gel to manage her bushy brows, she sought to use the brand to make one of her own. Thus, Brow Sculpt was born. For me, brow gels are often a hit or miss, but REFY’s unique applicator makes it so much more bearable. It’s formulated with carnauba and candelilla wax that’s wrapped all around the brush to make it easier to layer each hair—even the pesky curly ones. The product also comes with a brush/comb applicator to really help shape and sculpt my brows. The wax-gel formula is lightweight and leaves a soft hold that can last for 12 hours. I was able to set my brows without dealing with any crunchiness or flakes.
2. REFY Blur Liner
What We Like
- glides nicely on lips
- great color payoff
- works well with other lip products
- complements all skin tones
What We Don't Like
- tip might be hard to define pout for thinner lips
REFY
It was only last year that the brand introduced the Blur Liner and I can see why it’s a hit with reviewers. I recently tested another brand’s liner and this one is way more superior. I went for the “Teak” shade and it’s a deep brown tone that complements my skin tone. It’s designed like a slim lip crayon which helps glide nicely along my natural lip line. The brand claims you can apply without needing to soften or blend—and I was surprised to see it leave a blurry finish once you apply a lip gloss or lipstick on top (which I paired with REFY’s “Fawn” or "Papaya" lip gloss). I even did a swatch test on my hand and found it did not budge at all. Now, I already have full lips, but found the liner did a good job at defining my pout. Plus, it leaves a soft matte finish, it’s non-drying and pretty buildable.

3. REFY Lip Gloss
What We Like
- offers high-shine
- great color payoff
- nourishing formula
REFY
REFY knew what they were doing when they launched a whole lip line in 2022. The lip glosses are a great addition, especially if you’re looking for a juicy pout. With key ingredients like hyaluronic acid, jojoba oil and shea butter, the formula is nourishing and ultra-shiny. I was afraid it was going to be tacky, but was pleasantly surprised it didn’t dry up or leave any weird residue. It comes with a metal applicator to apply the product seamlessly across the lips. I tested three shades: “Papaya,” “Guava” and “Fawn” and they all left a nice tint behind. Like I mentioned, it pairs well with the Blur Liner for a more defined look. But honestly it works just fine alone. I would say a little goes a long way so be gentle when it comes to squeezing the tube (and one small con is that the applicator can get a bit messy so remember to swipe it clean after every use).

4. REFY Glow and Sculpt Primer
What We Like
- nourishing formula
- works well for all skin types, especially combo skin
- unique applicator
What We Don't Like
- have to remember to clean applicator after every use to avoid bacteria
REFY
This was the one product I was most excited about. I saw this primer everywhere and I was just as gagged as everyone else. The primer comes in a tube that has a built-in facial roller for even application. It felt like a self-care step as the brand recommends lifting upwards and outwards, paying close attention to the jawline and cheekbones. I can see why many pop it into the fridge for a cooler experience as it helps to reduce any puffiness and redness. It’s made of niacinamide to brighten and reduce the appearance of fine lines, vitamin E for moisture and glycerin to maintain hydration. This serum-based formula leaves a glowy finish and feels hydrating on my skin. The tacky texture reminds me of my go-to primer, which grips makeup and prevents an oily T-zone for us combo girlies.
5. REFY Cream Blush
What We Like
- blends well with brush
- very pigmented
- complements all skin tones
REFY
I don’t own many cream blushes (much prefer liquid and powder), yet this one might change my tune. I went for the “Citrine” shade, a brunt orange hue that works well for warmer complexions and a great choice for summer. I used the brand’s Duo Brush and it blends well on my cheek bones—even if you go a little overboard like I did. (FYI: The trick is using the smaller end of the brush so you don’t go too blush happy.) Since it’s very pigmented, I would say one swipe of the product works, but again it’s easy to blend out for a subtle glow. Although it’s creamy, it’s not super dewy which I greatly appreciate.

The Bottom Line: Is REFY a Beauty Brand Worth Exploring?
It’s safe to say the people have spoken and REFY is the real deal. Although I like all the products, my favorites have to be the Brow Sculpt and Glow and Sculpt Primer. Overall, the beauty brand worked great with my skin type and tone. They are reasonably priced, ranging from $20 to $34 and everything was nourishing—even the liners. The packaging is too minimal for my taste, but it makes up for it in formula and color payoff. The brand definitely found a new customer in me.
