If you haven’t been hearing about the Barbie movie everywhere you turn, you must be living under a very pink rock. Starring Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling and a whole slew of other A-list celebrities, the film is set to premiere on July 21. But if you already have the date circled on your calendar and are coordinating outfits with your crew, what better way to show up to see the buzziest film of the year than decked out in your best Y2K glam? Hally, a brand known for its bright and youthful approach to haircare has teamed up with Barbie to create all new shades of their innovative Shade Stix—temporary hair makeup that can be applied directly onto hair for a funky pop of color—in celebration of the upcoming Barbie film. The new Live Your Dream collab features three new hues: Signature Pink, Pump Up Purple and Malibu Blue which are perfect for matching with friends and make for a super cute pre-film GRWM. And don't forget the accessories. Cue the butterfly clips.

If you’re curious, Shade Stix have a similar texture and feel to hair mascara. The temporary hair makeup is packed with good-for-you ingredients like chamomile, ginseng, aloe and lavender and none of the bad stuff (think: parabens, sulfates, ammonia or para-phenylenediamines—all common ingredients in your run-of-the-mill hair dye). The application is a cinch and can be done simply by using the packaging's mascara wand and streaking it into the hair. Let it dry and then use the built-in comb to brush the color through your locks. From there, style away. Twist into braids. Adorn with beads. Go as crazy as you want—we totally recommend it. And the best part? It can be washed out completely with just one shampoo, so no need to worry about messing with your luxury dye job.

The new themed collection focuses on three iconic Barbies: Classic, Workout and Malibu, each represented by a different colored Shade Stix and accompanied by a fun accessory like hair tinsel, clip in beads or dazzling hair gems. The package itself is emblematic of the Barbie boxes of yesteryear, complete with a plastic window that lets you peek in at all the goodies inside.

Check out the different styles from the collection:

  • Classic Barbie features the color Signature Pink, a hot pink fit for the namesake herself. The set comes with heart shaped barrettes adorned with shimmery pink tinsel that can be clipped onto any strands of hair for a gleam of sparkly pizzazz.
  • Workout Barbie features the color Pump Up Purple, a dark violet, and rows of lavender and silver hair gems to bedazzle any style. Pop them into braids or strands of hair in a ponytail. You can even deck out the crown of your head to draw attention to the streaks of purple that you’re donning.
  • Malibu Barbie’s box features the shade Malibu Blue, a deep ocean hue, and two strands of iridescent blue, lime, lavender, clear and white letter hair beads spelling out ‘Malibu’ and ‘Barbie’ respectively. Attach them to mini ponytails for a quirky half up-half down look.
