If you haven't noticed, we're *big* fans of Dakota Johnson's style around here. But at this year's Cannes Film Festival, what caught my eye (in addition to her stunning gowns, of course) was her natural, yet totally glowy makeup look for the Splitsville premiere. Luckily, Johnson's makeup artist Georgie Eisdell spilled all the details on the products she used—which just so happened to include Merit's new, editor-approved tinted The Uniform SPF ($38) in shade 24.

PureWow Beauty and Cultures Editor Chelsea Candelario has already confirmed that this tinted SPF is good, offering sheer coverage that helps to even skin tone and reduce redness (you can catch her full review here). Here's what else you should know about the mineral-based formula from the brand that celebs from Johnson to Sarah Jessica Parker are obsessed with.

Merit

This tinted mineral sunscreen, The Uniform, was made to offer SPF45 coverage for your face—just in time to keep it protected from the strong summer sun. According to Candelario, the lightweight formula blends easily with her skin and leaves a velvety finish that doesn't feel too dry or too oily. And plenty of reviewers back her up. "I’m in love with The Uniform! The tint is so natural and blends effortlessly into my skin. The texture is lightweight and breathable, yet the coverage is just enough to even out my tone and give me that smooth, radiant finish. I’ve worn it on no-makeup days and under full glam—it holds up either way," writes one. The Uniform comes in 15 shades, too, so you should easily be able to find one to complement your complexion.

As for the rest of Johnson's premiere beauty look? She rounded it out with, of course, more Merit products, including the brand's Great Skin serum ($38), The Minimalist complexion stick ($38) in shade Linen, Shade Slick lip oil ($24) in shade Pointelle, Clean Lash mascara ($26) and Flush Balm ($30) in shades Archival and Lusitano—which are linked for you to shop below (apologies to your wallet, but you're welcome to your face).
