It’s no secret that PureWow readers and editors (myself included) are obsessed with White Lotus. Aside from dissecting the best theories and experimenting with the exact beauty products they’ve used on the show, there was one thing I couldn’t ignore: Leslie Bibb’s bob. Known as the CLB haircut (more on the acronym later), I predict it’s going to be a hit for summer. I chatted with three hairstylists to learn more about the buzzy cut and how you can live your best Kate life—minus the toxicity.
Leslie Bibb’s CLB Haircut Is Summer’s Hottest Look Thanks to 'White Lotus'—Here’s How to Get It

What Is the CLB Haircut?
According to Connor, the CLB haircut is “very blunt and lives around the jawline. As it works its way towards the back of the head, it’s cut at or slightly above the back hairline. So often this haircut is so short that some of the neck hair is shaved down.” Bibb coined the cheeky name, sharing on social media, “Some people have ‘the Rachel.’ I have the c-nty little bob!”
Celebrity hairstylist Chris McMillan is the mastermind behind the look. He wanted to create a haircut that was easy to style and maintain, especially during Bibb’s long filming days in Thailand. He also told Elle that it was just a perfect fit for the character, and honestly, I can’t picture Kate Bohr in any other style.

Why Is the CLB Haircut So Popular Right Now?
A popular show and a chic bob make for the perfect combo. While the Italian bob was associated with season two, the CLB haircut is marking its territory for the third season of the show. And despite the last episode airing on April 6, the HBO hit continues to spark fashion, travel *and* beauty inspo. “It’s not your average chop. It’s short, it’s sharp and it exudes main character energy. While it can fall under the umbrella of a ‘power bob’ or ‘French bob,’ there’s something uniquely defiant about the CLB. It doesn’t ask for attention—it demands it,” says Ruby.

Can All Hair Types Rock the CLB Haircut?
The experts say yes as long as you customize it to fit your texture and lifestyle. “It’s all about structure and polish for straight or fine hair, while being a voluminous dream for curls or thick waves,” explains Ruby. “It’s not one-size-fits-all, but that’s what makes it powerful. We tailor it to you.”
How to Ask for a CLB Haircut at the Salon
As curious as I am to see someone ask their stylist for a ‘c-nty little bob,’ the experts suggest being more specific in your request. Be prepared with reference photos of your desired cut. “This step will visually help you and your stylist be on the same page. During a consultation, letting your stylist know a few things that you love and dislike about your hair are key. The frequency and willingness to style your hair should also be discussed,” says Connor.

How to Style the CLB Haircut
As mentioned, the micro bob requires little-to-no styling. But if you want to jazz it up, Ina recommends using a mousse (or volumizing foam) and a flat iron for a smooth, polished look.

If you want a more tousled style, Conner suggests air dry cream or lightweight gel to enhance your natural texture.

The CLB haircut is also super versatile as you can part it in the middle or side, maybe slick it back or go for a tousled look. The possibilities are endless for the warmer months ahead.
I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to live a Leslie BOBB summer.
