March is a great month because it’s when you finally start to see the (sun)light at the end of the wintery tunnel. It’s also a surprisingly exciting time for beauty launches this year. From a TikTok approved undereye brightener to Augustinus Bader’s newest cream, here are the eight beauty products to try this month.

13 Makeup Organizers for All Your Best Beauty Splurges

1. Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Sunscreen

Fans of Glow Recipe’s growing watermelon line will love the newest addition to the family: an equally delightful smelling and glow-inducing watermelon sunscreen. With broad spectrum SPF 50 and a blend of mineral and chemical sunscreens including homosalate and zinc oxide, the lightweight cream also features niacinamide to gradually brighten skin over time. (Tip: Give the bottle a good shake before applying to ensure even coverage.)

Augustinus Bader

2. Augustinus Bader Ultimate Soothing Cream

Since launching with “The Cream” back in 2018, Augustinus Bader has amassed a legion of fans that include Gwyneth Paltrow and Victoria Beckham. (How’s that for a name drop?) The secret sauce in all of Bader’s products is TFC8 or Trigger Factor Complex 8, which is Professor Bader’s proprietary blend of over 40 amino acids, vitamins and molecules that work together to support your skin’s natural reparative process. (Fun fact: He originally discovered TFC8 while researching treatments for burn survivors.)

And if you’re wondering what makes this particular cream different from its predecessors, The Ultimate Smoothing Cream was formulated specifically with easily irritated and acne-prone skin in mind. The texture is also a bit lighter than the others in the line.

Merit

3. Merit Signature Lip Lightweight Lipstick

Despite only being a little over a year old, Merit has quickly become a favorite among makeup minimalists everywhere. (The brand’s “Shade Slick” became an instant bestseller and remains the #1 clean lip gloss at Sephora US and Canada as of writing.) Their newest launch is a sheer, but buildable lipstick that has a buttery application and a soft finish thanks to the squalene, raspberry and sunflower seed oil in the formula. You can swipe it in eight shades, but I’m partial to “Millennial,” a classic pink that works for any occasion.

4. Noshinku Refillable Pocket Sanitizer In Vetiver

Pre-pandemic, I rarely—if ever—gave thought to hand sanitizer, which I mostly associated with hospitals and a nostril burning scent. Two years later, I’ve become a hand sanitizer connoisseur thanks to the wide variety of options I’ve tested since then.

At the top of the list is this pocket-sized spray from Noshinku. Roughly the size of a credit card and not much thicker than one, this portable sanitizer readily fits into any purse or back pocket without adding bulk. Most importantly, the sanitizer is FDA registered and compliant, and is made from 70 percent pharma-grade ethyl alcohol and conditioning ingredients like aloe, jojoba and argan to keep your hands from drying out.

Goop

5. Goop Goopgenes Nourishing Hand Cream

Speaking of dry hands, I’d like to point you to this luxurious hand cream. Though it launched this past December, I’m including it here because I’ve been using it nonstop since then. Packed with a blend of nourishing butters like bacuri, cupuaçu and shea, it delivers a rich, yet somehow never greasy finish (which I appreciate given the amount of time I spend typing and scrolling daily).

best beauty products to try this march pacifica dreamlit glow undereye brightener
Target

6. Pacifica Dreamlit Glow Undereye Brightener

File this under: Targeted by TikTok. My latest late-night find is this undereye brightening wand (yes, I see the irony here) that has so far exceeded my expectations. The lightweight formula has a slanted doe foot applicator that hugs the hollows underneath your eyes and lays down an imperceptible shimmer that brightens dark circles a touch, so they’re less pronounced. It’s formulated with hydrating shea butter, jojoba seed oil and vegan collagen to smooth over fine lines and create a nice canvas for concealer should you decide you want more coverage.

7. Olive & June Foot Care Essentials Set

You know what else I’ve really gotten into over the past couple of years? Footcare. I know, sexy. I’ll tell you what’s not sexy though: hearing your own heels scratch against your bedsheets. Which brings me to this handy (err, footy?) set from Olive & June. It includes a lightweight foot serum, a magical heel balm, a scrub and a foot file for sandal ready feet all year round.

Schick

8. Schick Intuition Bamboo Razor

I’m going to be honest here and admit that I am often at odds with my conscience when it comes to my beauty consumption. It’s an ongoing work-in-progress (especially given my job), but there’s something Tiila Abbitt, the CEO and founder of ATHR Beauty, a sustainable makeup company, said a few years back that helps me: "We don’t need a few people creating a zero-waste lifestyle perfectly. We need millions of people trying their best, thinking more about their own footprint and making better choices with the goods they are purchasing, however imperfectly, to make a difference."

To that end, I try to be more mindful about what and how much I choose to use. My latest find is this bamboo razor from Schick. With three flexible blades that are made from 75 percent recycled steel and a reusable bamboo handle that’s more durable than plastic, you still get the close, clean shave you’ve come to expect from the brand. (Also, TMI, but given how sporadic I am with shaving my legs these days, this pack of three razors will last me a very long time.)
