You know that friend who always texts to ask for your Hulu password? We’ve got the perfect gift for her (and you): her own account. The streaming service just announced its 2022 Black Friday/Cyber Monday deal, and the discount is huge—like, 86 percent off huge.

Starting on Wednesday, November 23, you can score 12 months of ad-supported Hulu for just $2 a month (instead of the usual $7.99), and if you decide you don't want to pay, or you don't like it, you can cancel any time. You're not locked into a contract or anything.

That means you can gift someone a whole year’s worth of shows like The Handmaid’s Tale, Only Murders in the Building and The Bachelorette, all for just $24. As far as cheap gift ideas go, it doesn’t get much more affordable than that. (If you want to go all out, you could always package it with a face mask, some microwave popcorn and a bottle of wine—or wine subscription—to create the ultimate night in gift set. Just sayin’.) Plus, it’s a rare present where you won’t have to worry about shipping deadlines or supply chain issues to ensure it arrives on time. For that peace of mind alone, it might become your go-to gift for everyone on your list.

Granted, there is a catch: Like all Black Friday deals, this one’s only available for a limited time. You’ll have to sign up by 11:59 p.m. PT on Cyber Monday to take advantage of the discount (which, let’s reiterate, is a savings of $72 a year), and it only applies to new subscribers. There’s no promo code needed; simply sign up via Hulu.com.
