When it comes to facing social media haters, Zendaya isn’t afraid to prove them wrong, even if it means smelling her own feet on national television.
Earlier this week, Jimmy Kimmel debuted the 12th edition of “Celebrities Read Mean Tweets,” which features your favorite stars reading comments by internet trolls.
The clip opens on Will Ferrell, Jon Hamm, Maisie Williams and more celebs reading mean tweets about themselves.
“Maisie Williams looks like a very young grandma,” the Game of Thrones star says.
Things take a priceless turn when Zendaya gets in the hot seat and reads, “I bet Zendaya’s feet smell like Funyuns.” In an attempt to prove her haters wrong, the Euphoria star, 23, removes her shoes and takes a whiff.
“Let’s check, shall we?” she says. “No, smells like success to me.” Case closed.
Zendaya isn’t the only celeb to clap back during this round of mean tweets. When one user makes fun of Jake Gyllenhaal’s, er, genital region, the actor keeps his cool, saying, “It’s like a haiku. It’s a beautiful, beautiful thing to say.”
Other celebrity appearances include Martin Short, David Harbour, Fred Savage, David Spade, Kim Kardashian, Tiffany Haddish, Mark Hamill, Sarah Paulson, Chris Rock and Jeff Goldblum.
