Since the Bachelorette announcement is airing before The Bachelor (which airs at 8 p.m. later that day), it’s safe to assume that ABC has chosen someone who’s not still on Weber’s season of The Bachelor (aka Victoria F, Hannah Ann and Madison). This supports theories like the one floating around that Hannah Brown will reprise her role as Bachelorette despite her Dancing with the Stars tour commitment. There’s also some speculation that Colton Underwood’s Bachelor in Paradise ex Tia Booth might become Bachelorette (she is single) or that Kendall Long (from Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s season of The Bachelor) will snag the gig. On the flip side, the Bachelorette could technically be someone that Weber already sent home ages ago, like Sydney, Kelley or even Kelsey. Alayah and Mykenna are also contenders, but they’ve already reportedly committed to Bachelor in Paradise. Technically they could do both, if neither found love on BiP, but still.
Morrison didn’t reveal exactly what time the announcement will come (GMA is, after all, hours long), but we’ll be patiently watching to find out who’ll search for love this coming season.
The question remains: Who will the lucky lady be?
