Here's How You Can Snag a Free Wendy's Baconator Cheeseburger This Week Only

Just when we thought our New Year’s resolution to eat healthier was actually achievable, this happened.

Wendy’s just announced that it’s offering free Baconator Cheeseburgers to customers this week only. Just let that sink in.

Starting now until Monday, February 4, DoorDash is teaming up with Wendy’s to give away the fast food staple, which consists of a half-pound of beef, American cheese, six pieces (!) of applewood smoked bacon, ketchup and mayo.

Of course, there’s a small catch. The deal is only valid with an order of $10 or more, which means you’ll need to load up your cart with nuggets, fries and Frosties in order to qualify. (Twist our arm.) Customers will also need to use the promo code “FREEBACONATOR” at checkout to activate the offer.

The announcement comes on the same day that McDonald’s started giving away free sides of bacon to celebrate its newest menu item: Cheesy Bacon Fries.

So, is Wendy’s taking a subtle jab at Mickey D’s? We wouldn’t be surprised, considering the food chain is no stranger to starting feuds with its competitors. In 2018, Wendy’s shaded McDonald’s on Twitter for using frozen meat.

“Happy #NationalFrozenFoodDay to you for all the frozen beef that’s sticking around in your cheeseburgers,” the restaurant’s official Twitter account wrote before adding, “We believe in using fresh, never frozen beef in every cheeseburger everyday.”

Oh, Wendy. You’re such a bad influence. *Orders three Baconators*
