Viola Davis Stuns in Lime Green on Instagram—and Her Post Already Has Over 200,000 Likes

Viola Davis is a trendsetter on and off the screen. While many of her iconic characters have had a great sense of style (we're looking at you, Annalise Keating), the actress also knows how to put together a winning ensemble all her own.

Recently, the Ma Rainey's Black Bottom actress dug up a throwback image that she wanted to share so she could show off one of her favorite suits. In the caption, Davis said, “Love my ysaora suit by @xulybetofficial #TBT.”

Apparently Davis isn't the only one who loves the suit, because the post quickly racked up over 200k likes on Instagram. Some fellow acting legends showed their appreciation for the look, like Glenn Close, who said: “So beautiful.” Eva Longoria wrote, “Gorgeous,” while Tisha Campbell commented, “Omg you look so PRETTY.”

The green patterned suit is from Paris-based brand XULY.Bët's Spring 2021 Ready-to-Wear Collection. Davis originally rocked the two-piece for an appearance she had on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon back in March.

When Davis sported the suit, she received a message of gratitude on XULY.Bët's official Instagram account. They shared an image of Davis in the outfit and said, “So... Legendary actress @violadavis is wearing the 'Ysaora' suit for @jimmyfallon tonight! We can't believe our eyes, Viola Davis is an inspiration to all, she embodies the XULY.Bët woman completely. Thank you so much @elizabethstewart1 for making this vision come to life.”

The Widows star has been making all kinds of grand fashion statements with her public appearances lately. Back in April, she showed up to the Oscars red carpet in a custom-made white gown from Alexander McQueen, which she paired with a statement fauxhawk hairstyle.

Keep the iconic looks coming, Viola.
