Vanessa Hudgens knows how to stay cool in the summer heat.
Thanks to the crystal-clear swimming pool that's sitting in her backyard, that is. The actress, 31, has shared several pool selfies on Instagram, and now, they're making us want to go for a refreshing dip ourselves.
In her most recent selfie, the High School Musical alum is seen standing in her pool, wearing a mustard yellow two-piece bikini with two white lilies at the straps. She also has on golden bracelets, small gold earrings and stylish sunglasses to complete the look. While we love the Island vibes that we're getting from her glamorous ensemble, we immediately got distracted by the pool itself. In the caption, she wrote, "Heatwaveeee."
Only a few days before she shared this post, the Princess Switch actress gave an exciting update about about her backyard pool (and also treated us to a sneak peek at her stellar landscaping).
On Instagram, she uploaded a short video of herself sitting on a float above the water and, behind her, we can see a portion of her home, along with a collection of beautiful plants. They all sit on top of a white wall, which features some impressive modern art.
She noted that the design was a recent change from her plain walls, thanks to her illustrator friend, Carly Kuhn. She said, "@thecartorialist came over today and transformed my boring white walls to a chic moment."
As you might have noticed, spying on celebrities' backyard pools has become one of our favorite guilty pleasures while being stuck in quarantine (don't judge us). Previously, stars like Kelly Ripa, Simone Biles, and Jessica Simpson have given us a glimpse of their outdoor spaces, from breathtaking views to colorful poolside furniture.
Here's hoping that they keep these pleasant distractions coming.
